Gesu.

It was her final year. And it was their celebration of the championship. I can see how her glow radiates from her chin to her chinky eyes. People can really see the happiness in her. But I can still see that hint of sadness in her eyes. It's her last year for all that it mattered, of course, she'll be sad.
I was standing near the door as I stared at her. She's stating her sign-off speech. She said her last remarks as she shed a tear and looked at me. She went down the podium and her teammates ran to give her a hug. I smiled at the sight.

After the ceremony, I waited for her in my car only a few meters away from all the chaos. When I saw her approaching my car I went out. I was shocked when she immediately threw herself at me. Her head is on the crook of my neck and her hands are around my nape. I hugged her back and smiled.

"You did great Captain," I said and I felt her smile on my neck. "Im proud of you...always," I added and she just tighten her hug. She's so clingy and vulnerable, such a cutie.

"I wanna go home Mr." She said. I smirked and kiss her hair.

"You should've gone with Tita and Tito. You wanna go home na pala." She removed her hug from me and slap my arm. That earned her a healthy laugh from me.

"So ayaw mo ko kasama ha?" She said with a serious tone. I just pulled her close to my chest, kissed her forehead, and hugged her.

"Welcome home Isabel." I saw her cheeks turn red. "Yieee kinilig siya." And I earned another slap from the Captain.

"You know what I don't know why I said yes to you ba? You always tease me and make fun of me pa. I thought I was the bully."

"That's why you said yes Ms cause no one bullies you except for me. That makes me so special to you." I said proudly. She rolled her eyes and raindrops dropped on her cheeks. We both looked up at the skies and chuckled. I was about to open the door for her to go inside my car but she held my hand and pulled it.

"Beatriz it's raining we might get the flu. Get inside the car." I said while she just continued running in the field near Gesu.

"Come on Thirds! Seize the moment." She shouted as she was so far already. I ran towards her and carried her from behind. We enjoyed the night as if we were still in our rookie year. We used to do this back then. The only difference is now, she's mine.

We danced to our imaginary music. We laughed at our corniest jokes. We ran at our own pace. We asked each other about our dreams. We even watched the stars. We are indeed seizing the moment.

"Hey Thirds?" She sat down in the middle of the field.

"Hmm?" I sat beside her.

"Where do you see yourself in five years?" Well, that's random, I thought.

"Maybe playing in the pros. How about you?" I asked her.

"Cheering for you." She said. I looked at her and shock was all over my face. "Without hesitations this time." She added and that made me smile.

I wonder what I did in my past life to deserve this beautiful lady beside me. I sighed.

After an hour or so the rain is still non stop much to our dismay but the feelings we shared tonight? This is too much for our delight. We sat on the bleachers nearby. I looked at her. Her eyes are closed and her breathing's deep.
