The Forgotten Twin: Hazel Potter

Chapter 1

Hey guys, my name is Hazel Potter. You may know my twin brother the infamous Harry Potter. Well, here is my story. I grew up in an orphanage on Privet Drive.

You may be thinking there is no orphanage on Privet Drive, but there is one. A magical one.

You see, I grew up knowing magic unlike Harry. I was raised by Miss Cissy, Nacrissa Malfoy (nee Black). She was the best mum I could have asked for. She told me all about Harry and my aunt and uncle. The muggles as she says it. And she tells me how Draco is. I only got to meet him twice.

Cissy doesn't let him come anymore because his blood affects me to much.

She always took me to see Grandpa Albus, my godfather, when I need my medicine. The medicine made it to where I don't attack anyone normally, but when there is blood it is to hard for me to resist because I am a vampire.

When I was little I wanted to go see Harry but Cissy wasn't there so I walked up by myself. There was a vampire sitting on the steps so I said hi. He turn around, said "you'll do", and bit me. Cissy stopped him before he could kill me but now I'm a vampire.

But enough about this now the real story. Every year after Grandpa adopted me. When I was ten I was sent to a french school called Beauxbatons Academy of Magic. I was there for first and second year. The summer before third year, I begged Grandpa to go to Hogwarts this year. He finally agreed and I asked if I could go see Aunt Cissy. He allowed me and owled her to let her know I was coming.

I flowed to the Malfoy Manner after taking my medicine. When I got there Aunt Cissy was waiting for me by the fireplace. " Oh, Hazel. I haven't seen you in forever. Have you eaten yet? Have you taken your medicine? I want you to see Draco. He has grown so much !" Cissy practically didn't breathe the entire time, so by the end everything was a squeal.

" I know, I missed you, too. Yes I have eaten but I'm always hungry, so yes, please. Yes, I have taken my medicine already and I'd love to see Draco. I miss him so much!" I answered all of Cissy's questions in one breath as well

" well then I wake up Draco and have the house elves cook us up a big breakfast", Cissy said to me.

I walked into the house and headed up to the dining area where I see uncle Lucy or Lucius Malfoy. I woke up to him and gave him a big hug from behind and he turns around. Uncle Lucy wraps his arms around me and lift me up to twirl me. He put me down and I hear a cough from the stairs outside the door thanks to my vampire hearing so I ran out. When drake walk down the stairs all the house of scurry. " Draco Lucius Malfoy are you being mean to the house elves again." I said with a huge grin

He sees me and jumps the rest of the stairs which is like 10 steps to get to me he sees me and jumped the rest the stairs which is like 10 steps to get to me. Drake runs up to me and gives me a huge hug. He leans back and I look in to the crystal blue eyes I've grown to love. " I didn't know you were going to be here today mom just told me someone important was here with good news I wonder where they are" he said in a joking manner. I let go of one arm around his neck, were they were resting, and punch him in the arm. " Hey what was that for?" He says to me.

"That was for saying I wasn't special or important with not good news," I said with a slight grin.
" Hey I never said that. But tell me, what's the news?" Drake said to me

"Well since you're being a nice Draco I'll tell you I'll be at Hogwarts this year instead of going to France like usual." I said the last sentence so fast I didn't breathe.

He laughed and I jumped on his back.  We walked into the dining area like that sissy laughed and Lucy raises an eye brow at us. " what you looking at Lucy?" I said to him he just shook his head and put it in his palms. That just made Cissy laughed even harder. " Oh, look good is here and so am I. Let's eat."

The breakfast that took half an hour to make took me five minutes to eat when we were done Cissy made an announcement. " OK everyone I have good news Hazel be going to Hogwarts this year now Draco go clean your room and I'll send Hazel up in 10 minutes OK?" When Draco is up the stairs so she sits next to me were Draco just left and grab my hand. OK now I have bad news. Today you were 13 and the medicine you take stops working. There is no other medicine for you. After today you're without medicine. And something else, you will be joining whatever house you are sorted into and you must stay there with your house. No one can know about you. Not even Draco.  OK?"

" Yeah, that's fine" I said, distracted.

So I finally got the chapter up. I should be able to get the next one should be in a week from today but Christmas is coming soon and then it's New Years. Anyway if I'm unable to it will be two weeks from today. Merry Christmas 🎄🎁 and Happy New Years. 😄💩. Bye 👋 Y'all ✌🏻
