Chapter 27 The Letter

Louis' POV

"Hello, I'm Louis and I still love you. Will you be my girlfriend?" I asked feeling really anxious.

I couldn't really tell what her facial expression was. It looks surprised, nervous, happy all at the same time.

"Abby?" I questioned.

"Um..."

Please say yes, please say yes, please say yes.

"I-I don't know Louis. I-I'm sorry." She said and I sighed.

"Can you just promise me to just think about it? Please?" I asked her.

"O-okay." she said and I could see water forming in her eyes.

"Hey, don't cry. You don't have to think about it if you don't want." I told her as I rubbed her tears away.

"No, I didn't cry because of that. I'll think about it. I promise." she sniffed.

"Okay. But please don't cry. I don't like to see you like this." I told her truthfully.

"Sorry. I just...I don't really know what happened." she said softly.

"It doesn't matter. Let's just go back now." I faintly smiled and she nodded.

We walked back to Niall's room and I

knocked. They immediately opened it.

"Are you 2 finally a- oh. Don't worry about it." Harry said as he opened the door widely for us.

"Thanks." I said with a forced smile.

Abigail/Abby's POV

I sat down next to Niall while Louis sat next to Liam on the other side of the room and Harry and Zayn were playing FIFA.

"Want to talk about it?" He asked.

"No." I mumbled.

"You sure?" He asked again and I sighed.

"I-I don't know what I did Niall. I think I was just...nervous. I wasn't ready for a question like that. It's a really hard decision you know. Especially after forgiving each other after a fight. I just don't trust him yet I guess." I explained to him.

"I know how you feel sweetheart. Just think about it and I'm sure you'll make a wise decision." Niall smiled.

I thought about it for a while before I was going say something.

"When will you guys leave?"

"In 2 weeks. Why?" He questioned.

"I have 2 weeks to make the right decision then." I said.

"Just think before you say alright?"

"I will. Don't worry." I said giving him smile.

I then took a quick glance at Louis. He was looking at me as well. I then quickly looked back, feeling a bit uncomfortable.

Louis' POV

"Mate, what happened? Start from the beginning." Liam said and I sighed.

"So, I was helping her with her bleeding nose and stuff. Then we forgave each other from the Skype call fight. Then I asked her if we could start all over again. She said 'Hello, I'm Abigail.' and I said 'Hello, I'm Louis and I still love you. Will you be my girlfriend?' Then it was all silent and she didn't say anything for while."

"Yeah, yeah, then what did she say?"

"She said 'I don't know. I'm sorry' and it felt like my life was just ruined. But I told her to think about it and she promised. I don't know if she will though." I explained then looked back at Liam. He was just looking at me and smiling.

"What?" I said confusingly.

"What are you so sad about? It's pretty obvious she's going to say yes next time you ask. You have nothing to worry about."

"Then why didn't she say yes then?"

"Because she just needs time to think about it. She's not ready yet. But I'm sure she will say yes next time." He said.

"I doubt it." I said as I looked at her. Her hair, her eyes, she's just beautiful. I wish I could call her mine. I wish I could hug and kiss her whenever she's down. But I can't.

She then finally looked at me. I gave her a small smile but she quickly looked away. Does she hate me?

"She doesn't hate you Lou. She just feels uncomfortable." Liam said as if he read my mind.

"Did I say it out loud?"

"No, I just read your mind." Liam shrugged.

Abigail/Abby's POV

"Oh, here's the letter mum gave you by the way." Niall said as he passed me a white envelope.

"Thank you." I said as I grabbed it.

"Is it actually from Simon?" I asked.

"By the looks of it, it looks like it's his writing." Niall said.

"I wonder why he would write a letter to me." I said as I opened it.

Dear Abigail Horan,

Due to the amount of views and popularity to your videos on your YouTube channel, I took a little visit to your channel and watched all of your videos, and I've got to say, you're extremely talented. I was having a little meeting with Modest! management, and we would like to sign you up here as an artist. You have 2 weeks to think about your decision then you will fly here to England with the boys and you and I will have a little talk about it. Thank you for your understanding.

I then started screaming after I read the letter. This cannot be happening. Oh my god, I can't believe this.

"What! What! What! Show me!" Niall yelled as he grabbed the letter.

"Oh my god!" Niall yelled.

"I can't believe this. Oh my god." I said.

"What does it say!?" Liam yelled.

"Simon and the management want to sign her up!" Niall answered.

"What!" They all said in unison.

"Mum! Dad!" I yelled as I grabbed the letter from Niall and sprinted downstairs.

"What? What happened?" Dad asked panicking.

"Modest! Wants to sign me up!" I yelled waving the paper around.

"What! Show me!" Mum said and I gave her the paper.

"What's this?" Greg asked as he walked over to us with Denise holding Theo.

"Shh!" Dad said.

"Yay Abby!" Theo said.

"Aw! He's so cute! Thanks everyone." I smiled. I couldn't stop smiling actually.

"Mum? Dad? Can I go? Please?" I begged.

"Of course darling. This is such an amazing opportunity!" Dad said.

"Oh my gosh. I still cannot believe this is actually happening."
