'Go to mate, she's hurting.'

'No, she's with Neveah now, besides we'll comfort her tonight.' 

'I hate to see her like this.'

'How's Layla, Dalton?'

'She is still grieving, but she knows she must move on, she'll still have his memories.'

'Yes, they both will. Blake and his wolf. Tonight we should do a howl for him, just the family.' 

' I believe that's what he wants.' 

' I think Rena would like that too.' 

'I know her and her wolf is hurting and she could use all the support in the world right now.'

Charlie's P.O.V.

'Charlotte?'

'Yes, Layla.'

'Dalton is planning a howl for tonight, just the family.'

'That's what he wants, I'm sure he would want us to remember him well.'

'I'm sorry Charlotte.'

'Thanks, Layla.'

'Layla, how is Dalton?'

'He is very anxious to comfort us, he knows we are hurt.'

'Of course, its natural that he wants to, 

'Tonight I'll let you spend time with Dalton, I let Josh know to let Dalton out.'

'Thank you.'

"Blake tonight is for you."

"Tonight we are here to honor our fallen brother, son, mate, and friend. We will remember him for the good times we had and not the bad. Now everyone shift please." 

"Thank you, Josh, Blake would want this."

"How are you holding up?"

"I'll be fine and besides, I have to live on for his sake and for the sake of our son."

"You're pregnant."

"Yes I am, we didn't want to say anything until we knew for sure."

"That's great."

"Yes it is, but my son will never get to know his father."

"Yes he will, we have his memories and tell him of how his father was brave and how he will be brave just like him."

"Thank you. Josh, how is Charlie?"

"Not sure, we haven't talked at all since this morning."

"I bet she's taking this hard, comfort her after all her and Blake did everything together, in fact, all the brothers protected her always. First, her sister and now her brother, and her parents are a wreck, tomorrow I am going to stay with them at their house for a few days. Tonight you should comfort Charlie, she is hurting more than all of us."

"Charlie, tonight we should let Dalton and Layla comfort each other."

"I agree, I'll let her out we go upstairs, but for now I want some ice cream."

'Thank you Josh.'

'You deserve time with Layla, after all, you are connected to her.'

"Layla needs time with Dalton now more than ever so he can comfort her, after all, she, just like me lost a brother."

'Dalton.'

'How are you feeling?'

'Better now that you're here. I'm grateful to Josh for letting us be together tonight.'

'It was Josh's idea.'

'Oh?'

'Yes, believe it or not, he really cares for Charlie and you. He sees the way Charlie takes care of you and allows you to run every day just to make you happy, she is always putting others before herself, that's what he likes about her. He is glad to have met her and that she agreed to become his wife and you my Luna.'

'I just can't believe he is gone, my brother. I remember after Charlie and I became one he would take us out to play and Charlie would let me run beside him.'

'It's ok, I know you miss him, I do too. Come on let's go to bed, tomorrow we should go for a run before we shift back.'

'A run sounds nice. Goodnight Dalton.'

This chapter, I wouldnt say hard, just difficult because I kept stopping and starting but I would forget my thoughts. I wanted to give the wolves sometime to talk and have a moment. 

Today is Friday, payday. It was a horrible day at work and writing makes the pain all go away. I hate that I get blamed for everything that goes on at the center. It's not fair!!!!! Oh well glad you liked this chapter and continue to look for more. This is probably the 2nd chapter that is not over 1,000 words
