It was a cold winter morning the day after Jin's birthday. The sun was hidden behind the clouds and it was foggy. I got up and got myself ready for the day. I slid out of bed wrapped up in my blanket I was freezing and I could feel myself getting sick. My blood ran cold and my head felt light, so I decided to lay there until I heard my phone go off. It shone brightly in my dimly lit room so I turned the brightness down as I checked to see who messaged me.
❤️ Kookie ❤️: Annyeonghaseyo 😁 did you sleep well last night?
💜👽💜 : Yes I did buy I'm feeling a bit under the weather
💜👽💜 : I might have to do a raincheck on our lunch date at the café
❤️ Kookie ❤️ : No worries maybe next time 😔
I sighed as I lifted myself up to go throw on a warm onesie. I didn't want to risk getting Kookie sick because he has a performance this week, I felt bad that I can't go but it's for the best. I sat down and slid down the stairs and rolled to the kitchen. I got up and made some breakfast, and then I sat down by the TV and watched some kdramas. I could feel myself longing for some warmth. No blanket could satisfy my need for Kookie's warmth. I wish I could have him by my side. He was the sunshine in my cloudy sky. Almost instantly I heard the door click open and I saw a familiar blob of brown hair slip in through the door. He stopped in front of me and smiled. Without saying a word he lit the fireplace with ease and slipped in under the blankets next to me.
"Hey no I'm sick you can't be close to me Kookie!" I protested.
He just smiled and continued to snuggle into me. He grabbed my icy hands and played with my fingers to warm them up. He snuggled his head into my neck and smiled. I could feel him grinning against my skin. He lightly kissed me on the cheek and played with my hair as I slowly drifted off to sleep.
"Hmmm I love you Jungkookie," I said as I yawned.
I drifted off to sleep as he replied," I love you too TaeTae."
