Chapter 9 ~ ❄

Monday came and it was one helluva morning. My shower heater was not in the mood to work. I curled up naked in the tub while the cold morning water showered over me as I occasionally turn droplets to ice.

I went down, outside to our front lawn to see a van parked outside. I went inside then realized there was numerous laughing sounds from the kitchen. Was I distracted to hear those laughter before?

In the kitchen was a bunch of teenagers, probably in my age and younger. They were all holding mugs in their hands and laughing along with Anna and Nan Gemma.

"Elsa!" Anna gasped then excitedly hopped of the counter.

"oh. Good morning." I awkwardly said as she hooked arm to mine.

"Guys! This is my sis, Elsa. Elsa, say 'hi'" Anna said while jokingly putting her hands on her hips and acting all strict. I smiled a bit a the cute attitude of little sister before stammering a little "hi".

"okay, Elsa, these are my friends from the glee club and from the school band. I met them last year in the glee club when we had this performance which you had to watch on video because you're sick... so... yeah... my friends!" Anna motioned at the four.

"This is Kristoff, Punzie, Merida, and Hiccup." Anna introduced as the blonde haired boy pretended to have hiccups while the boy with shaggy brown hair glared at him.

"Hey. Nice to meet you!" the girl with an unruly mass of curly red hair with an unfamiliar accent held her hand out for me to shake. I hesitated since I have gloves on and I thought it may seem weird but I shook her hand anyway.

"So you're Anna's sister! So nice to meet you. Anna, she really looks pretty." the blonde girl with hair that reaches the back of her knees said after hugging me.

"Nice to meet you all. Really. but... I gotta go... I really need to finish something at the library. So... See you guys later." I smiled and waved at them before heading out.

Lunch came and I isolated myself once again. I ate lunch quick with just one sandwich then went to school garden. Almost nobody goes there because it's just a small space behind the school with some landscapes and a few benches.

I got a new book from yesterday when Anna and I went to the mall.

In the middle of my way through the second chapter, tiny snowballs dropped on the page, causing a wet mark on it. I furiously got up to find a chuckling Jack Frost from behind.

"Hey!" I walked to him then hitting him by his arm. "This book could get ruined with your games. Stop it!" I snapped.

"Okay, okay. Somebody doesn't seem cool today." he raised his hands to surrender.

"I had a bad start. Starting off with a super cold shower."

"Whoah. I thought the cold never bothered you anyway?"

"Not unless I was being showered with ice cold water while naked and lying on the cold tub."

"So... Got any interesting stories to tell, milady?"

"Hmm... Well... weird... but interesting."

"Lay it on me, Icy pants." I glared at his nickname.

"I was... Like... having a dramatic moment my sister Anna... I cried then of course, my ice was creeping around her clothes and so was the spot I was stepping on then..." I trailed off...

"Then what?"

"Erm... she said a lot of heart warming things... that's all then when we let go from our hug, the ice on her clothes was gone, the one beneath my shoes, and my hands were back to my normal warm hands."

"Weird."

"I told you."

"You just thawed the ice."
