Rochelle POV.

The next monrin' was dreadfull, I woke up feelin' terrible about Elvis leavin'. Also about Glady's, and how she feels about everythin'. Mama was ok with me stayin' with Elvis since I was over 18. So Elvis helped me move my stuff last night.

"Mornin' Elle, like some coffee?" Glady's asked me, pouring me a cup, I nodded taking the cup from her.

"Where's Elvis?" I questioned, takin' sip. She whipped her apron, before she sat down.

"He went into town, lookin' at some new caddies. You know him with his cars, always gotta have the lastes." Gladys rolled her eyes, she reached over and took my hand.

"You know, Elvis told me what happend with you too the other night." She started, I sorta gave a panic look. Why would Elvis tell his mother about us in the barn?.

I was about to speak but she cut me off "Did he really tell you about buyin' a house in germany?"

I let a sigh if relife out, she gave me a questioning look. "Yes, he said he doesn't wanna share a barricack with anybody."

"Oh, I don't blame him. He's always been so keept to himself, never did like sharin'  things." Gladys replied, whipping down the counters. She always had a sad look in her eyes, but today seemed diffrent.

I moved up too help her start cleanin', she grabbed my arm. "I really don't wanna see him go, Elle I tried to keep that boy safe from everythin'. I have a bad gut feelin', I told him this mornin' and he said 'mama, now you know i gotta do this I can't disappoint annyone.'. But he's dissapointing me by goin'." Glady's broke down, I helped her move to the couch. She rested her head on my shoulder.

"Glady's, everyone's upset. Elvis admitted to me he doesn't wanna leave, but he has a reputation to live up too. " I informed her.

She shook her head quickly" I could care less, but that boy has been nothin' but givin' into what people say. Hell, he's even changed his attitude." Glady's got up, pacing around.

"Man, That Caddie was beautifull." Elvis came waltzing in, he gave me a questioning look when he seen his mama walkin' around cryin'.

"Mama, mama what's wrong?" Elvis rushed over to Glady's, she jerked her arm away.

"Now don't you start, this whole time you've been acting diffrent with me. Don't you try and act like you care now." She yelled, storming down the hall to her room. Everyone of Elvis's guys stared at him, Elvis kicked the railing of the stairs.

Elvis POV.

I was so lived with my mother, I've been treating her the same since I've gotten money. She always trys and start something and then leaves in the middle. The guys around the room kinda stood in an awkward position.

"Man! Can you believe her! Telling me I changed!. What kinda shit is that?" I yelled, I threw a vace acroos the room making Elle get up.

"Elvis, you have! I haven't known you longer than you're mama, but I've known you long enough. The Elvis I know wouldn't talk to his mother like that " Elle yelled, she went down the hall to my mother's room.

"Come on man! Loosen up! Have fun, you sure ain't like how you were before this shit. Man, I haven't seen you stressed since senior year." Red hit my back, Billy took out a cigar.

"It's everybody, always Egging me on. Say we need this, do this, get this. Be this. All the danm time, and now the arm. What in the hell am I gonna do now." I yelled, I was getting more frustrated by the minute.

Elle came back out, about to go upstairs. She stopped in front of me "Meet me upstairs." She whispered, she moved her finger across my chest.

The boys whisteled and hollard as she walked up the stairs. I told the to be quiet as I Followed her up the stairs, I shut the door behind me.

"Elle, I know i haven't been the best at all. And im sorry but everyone is just gettin' on my nervous and im tired off it, maybe the army is a good thing you know?" As I finished Elle wrapped her arms around me.

"I know you're tryin' your best, But Glady's loves you terribly and she's worked up about you leavin'." She replied, I sat down on the bed pulling her on my lap.

"I know, I know." I sighed, "But man, her short temper has me feeling crazy." I laughed, Elle cupped my cheeks.

"Baby, maybe. You're mama, needs to come with us? That will make her much better." Elle, moved the piece of my hair away from my face.

I shook my head "No, that will make me even more nervous about going." I rubbed her sides, pulling her close.

"We just want you save Elvis, Why can't you see that?" Elle whispered.

But I do, thats what makes me so anxious about going. If anything happens I know my mama would be heart broken and thats why she's not going.
