A quiet room
A quiet girl
A quiet life
She screams
This is not her
This is not her
But no one knows
"You're so quiet"
They all say
So mature
So responsible
Organized
Calm and confident
That's why we like you
A quiet girl in a quiet room
With a quiet voice
The clutter builds around her
She waits another day
Tomorrow it will be easier to clean
Tomorrow it will be easier to be me
But it's always today
That's why we like you
That's what they say
We like you for you
She smiles
They like her for her
Because she's quiet
And mature
And responsible
Organized
And calm
And confident
Soon she doesn't know
Where the lie ends
Where does she begin
Where did she go
Who is she
A quiet girl trapped in a quiet lie
