You were already at work, and you were waiting for the president to come inside the meeting room. It's nerve-racking since he already checked out the work of everyone. And also, all the things that had been going on around here. He looks so earnest all the time, so you don't know if he's happy with all the work you did.
-Here he comes. – Ashley said as soon as the president got inside the room and right behind him was your boss and some others, top workers, everyone stood up from their places and bowed at him, and right after that, everybody began to wait for him to talk or say anything.
-Thank you, everyone. Please take a seat. – The president said; he was so earnest, so you couldn't tell if he was pleased by the work everyone mad or if he was just upset. –I already checked the job everybody did, I already talked to the boss of each one of you, and I'm happy with the work everyone made. – The president said while walking in circles in front of the table.
-Is there something we can improve on, boss? – One of the employees asked.
-Great question. – The president said. –You can, there's a lot of room for you to improve on, so for these couple of months, we are going to be focused in one of the most visited restaurants here in Seoul, and your boss will give you more details later this day. – The president explained.
-To all of us? – Ashley asked.
-Now that you ask, no, I have to talk with Nara. – The president said while looking at you.
Immediately, you just nodded at his comment, and right after that, you started to get nervous.
-Okay, you are all dismissed. I'll see you tomorrow. – He finally said.
Everyone started to get up from their seats while you were about to walk out of the meeting room; the president called your name. Ashley just looked at you, concerned, she wished you luck, and right after all the employees were out, the room became quiet.
-So you wanted to talk to me, Sir? – You asked nervously.
-Let's not use formalities in between us, Nara, call me by my name. – He said while smiling at you. Honestly, the first time you have seen him smile so wide.
-Alright. – You said while looking at him.
-Okay then, take a seat. – The president said while pointing at the chair in front of him, and so you did. –I wanted to tell you how impressed I'm with your work. I believe you have great potential in this company. – He stated while standing in front of you.
-Thank you, Sir. – You said while looking at him with a slight smile, then he just looked at you seriously. –Sorry, Seokmin. – You said a bit shyly.
-Nara, I have so many ideas for you to execute, but I want to know if you have what it takes to do them. – Seokmin spoke. –Are you ready for the work I have to offer? – He asked.
-I am. – You said while nodding.
-Perfect then! You must write about your favorite restaurants in Seoul. I know you are familiar with this place, so you will share with me the areas you like the most. Then we'll discuss the rest tomorrow. – Seokmin said with a smile.
-Sure thing! Count on me. – You nodded.
-I'll wait for you patiently. Now you are dismissed. – Seokmin said, then he walked towards the door, and he opened it up for you. –Have a great day, Nara. – He said with a smile.
-You too, Seokmin. – You spoke.
Everything went out better than you thought it would, and you can't believe the opportunities that are coming to your way. Maybe coming back wasn't as bad as you imagined at the beginning.
*Hours later*
-I can't believe the president was so polite to you. I'm jealous. – Ashley said before eating some of her salad.
-And I can't understand that you are eating at this time; you should have lunch earlier. – You said while looking at her.
-Yah! It was just one time. – Ashley complained.
-You don't need to alarm for eating an hour late. – Someone said while covering up your eyes, you immediately turned around and saw Keonhee with Leedo and Xion there.
-Keonhee! – You happily said while hugging him tightly.
-Geez! You almost jumped on him. – Leedo said while chuckling.
-Excuse her, she's very amusing. – Ashley said while rolling her eyes.
-Sorry, sorry. – You said while getting apart from Keonhee, a bit embarrassed.
He chuckled. -Why are you so happy today? – Keonhee asked as he looked at you with a smile.
-The president came today, and he was proud of the work I made, so he's going to give me more opportunities. – You said excitedly.
-Congratulations! – Leedo said as he high fived you, then you looked right behind him, and you saw Xion just staring at you a bit serious.
-W-Well, why are you guys here? You should be at the studio. Right? – Ashley said, a bit nervous since she noticed how Xion was looking at you.
-We are in our break, just taking some air. – Keonhee said while sitting next to you.
-Yeah, and after all, the park is a pleasant place to spend the time. – Leedo said while breathing peacefully.
-And more if it's this one. – Xion said as he sat next to Ashley.
-Huh? And why's that? – Ashley asked curiously.
-Because I like the flowers around the place. – Xion said while smiling at Ashley.
-The boy and his flowers, geez! – Leedo said while chuckling a bit. –So, do you have plans for tonight? – Leedo asked.
-Nope, I finished everything at work, so I'm free. – Ashley said happily.
-And you, Nara? – Keonhee questioned.
-I have things to do but, why are you asking? – You asked curiously.
-There's a party we're going to go to, it's from one of my friends from high school, so the company permitted us. – Leedo said excitedly.
-You have to go. – Keonhee stated while moving your arm back and ford.
-In that case, I'll go. – You said happily. –Are you going to Xion? – You asked since you saw that Ashley and Xion were way too distracted talking on their own.
-Of course, I'll never miss a good party night. – Xion said as he smiled at you.
-True. – You said while chuckling a bit.
-What? Why are you laughing? – Keonhee asked.
-No, nothing. Memories. – You said while looking at Xion with a guilty sight.
-Yah~ they're going to start with their best friends' looks. – Leedo complained while rolling his eyes.
-This is just the beginning. – Ashley laughed, then right after that, you felt how Keonhee started to play with your hand, which made Xion change his glance at you again. He was acting so odd, and it's just so new to you since you barely came back.
