The Jyde Star has risen, the inhabitants of planet Dein are focused on their regular activities, but today is no normal day. It has been some time since the crisis between Dein and the Seekers had begun, and things just kept getting worse...
The Intergalactic Federation thought it was time for them to act as pacifiers, for them to help solve the dispute between both planets. What was the dispute? I don't remember too well... I only know it was for a mine of Dark Matter, a very valuable but rare resource that many planets and orders like the Seekers looked for. Dein's kingdom said that the mine was close to their planet, but the Seekers said that their ancestors'd found that mine much before Dein... and so the dispute went on. It got worse when Dein ships were attacked by Seekers or when Dein decided to pilfer a colony of the Seekers. Things were looking bad for the galaxy, and everyone was expectant of what the Federation was going to do.
The morning of the 3400 (human years) and a rumor had begun to spread. Some people from the underground said that the kingdom of Dein was going to declare war against the Seekers. The rumor became so strong that even information sources took it as a reality, and soon everyone thought it was the real thing. Of course, the Federation heard about this, and the leader Zug decided it was time to act. In that moment, he spoke with the diplomats of the Federation and gave two of them the mission of solving the dispute with both parties representatives.
-Thanks for this emergency meeting, everyone. As you might've heard, the Dein kingdom wants to declare war against the Seekers. This is an intergalactic emergency, and it could even bring more planets to participate; directly or indirectly.
-Zug, you really think this "war" is even going to happen?- asked Chie, leader of Mohne.
-Miss Chie, this war is serious. And it's a problem, specially for Dein.- said Nye, president of Žeik.-Think about it; Dein is a powerful kingdom, OK, but the Seekers have colonies all over the universe, they can bring them all and destroy Dein for good.
-And for that reason,I have prepared a plan.-interrupted Zug.- The Federation made an agreement where representatives of both parties will have a meeting with representatives of our own, so we can settle this problem in a peaceful way. The representatives were chosen by a selected group of members of the Federation. Miss Merciés and Mister Kufp will go as our representatives. And we will have to hope for the best.
-Zug?-asked Nye- You should send them with a defense squadron, just in case.
-Hmm... Alright, I think it's a safety measure. I will. I shall send them with the best defense squadron we have. Anyways, I think this meeting is over. I thank you all again for being here and Long live the Federation!
-Long live the Federation!- said everyone.
The leader Zug seemed concerned... Was that the right decision to make? Was Miss Chie right? No, he was doing what he had to, it was a smart choice.
-Lukk!- shouted Zog.
-Yes, sir?
-Call Captain Dunn and his crew. He is needed for a critical mission...
