London's Pov

"London, wake up!" my older brother, Justin, shouted. With the sound of a blowhorn following his attempt in waking me up.

"Justin, I'm awake okay. Put the goddamn blowhorn away." I mumbled, my head still buried on my pillow.

"Come on, stop being grumpy. It's the first the of school!" He said, laughing louder than he should. Really, Justin? Who wouldn't be grumpy on the first day of school? With a lot of courage and strength.. okay I'm exaggerating.. I sit up on my bed to face Justin.

"I wouldn't be grumpy if you weren't the one who woke me up." I said, glaring at him.

"Aw, aren't you the sweetest little sis?" He said in a baby voice while pinching my cheeks. I swatted his hands and said, "You're so annoying!!" He laughed and left my room to give me privacy as I get ready for school.

I went to the bathroom and stared at myself in my 5 feet mirror. I wonder how my first day as a junior will go? Probably just me moping around the hallways. Same old, same old.

After getting ready, my brother dropped me off to school before going back home. Lucky asshole, his first day as a 2nd year college student doesn't start until next week. As I was walking to my first class, which is English, I went to my locker and put the things I brought from home. Come on, I know I'm nerdy and shit but that doesn't mean I don't want a locker like Sharpay Evans'.

"Good Morning, Mr. Kramer." I greeted my English teacher with a smile as I enter the room.

Mr. Kramer has always been my favorite, nice old man. His Irish accent, gray hair, and the wrinkles around his eyes always seemed welcoming.

"Ah! Ms. Green, Always a pleasure to see you." He smiled back, with a gesture of his hands. It was his habit to express his feelings a lot with using different kinds of hand gestures. God, I'm so weird. Why do I even notice these kinds of stuff. I mentally cursed myself.

After asking him how his summer went, I sat on the fromt row. As probably already now, I'm a nerd. Not really a nerd - 'Nerdy'

I'm just really....smart.

Minutes later, students started entering the classroom with a few hellos, and how are yous here and there. I'm not close to everyone in my batch but, most of them are really nice to me. Especially during finals. It's kinda surprising how a lot of them are also 1 hour early on the first day. Last year, almost half of the class didn't come to school on the first week. They said they didn't want to go through the Introduce-yourself-infront-of-the-class phase.

After staring into thin air for 30 minutes, Isobelle Sanders, My red haired Best friend, came in.

"London! I missed you!" she smiled her happy smile. The one that looks like she poops rainbows and unicorns. Belle  had been my best friend since kindergarten. She's my confidante and my soul sister.

"I missed you too." I grinned. She hugged me and I hugged her back with the same pleasure of seeing her again since we only got the hang out twice in the summer since since she and her family went to Hong Kong, Singapore, Philippines, and Malaysia. Damn, her summer went well.

"How was your summer? Any hot boys?" Belle asked, while wiggling her eyebrows. Oh Belle.

"You know I never look at anyone other than Ian." I whispered to her with a smile. Isobelle knows how obsessed I am with Ian. And she also knows that I liked him since we were in 3rd grade. Pitiful? Maybe.

"You still like him?" she said, a little annoyed. She thinks that I'm beautiful and that I deserve someone better. She just wants what is best for me, and I love her so much.
