“What’s up, snot face?” Jimmy sneers, reminding me of that guy from Harry Potter, Malfoy.
“Clever, Jimmy. Leave him alone.” Alicia retorts before I can answer.
I whisper to Alicia. “I’ve got this. Just head to homeroom.” She makes the most adorable face. One where she scrunches up her nose. I smile.
“What are you smiling at?”
“Nothing.” I tell her, still smiling.
“Hello! I’m still here!” Jimmy interrupts. I turn to him.
“What do you want, Jimmy?” I ask with an annoyed tone in my voice. Jimmy smirks.
“I want you to know that I’m going to make Alicia my girlfriend.”
“Why do you care?” I ask in a sleepy and uninterested tone.
“Because, I want her, and I always get what I want.” I’m shocked. Why would Jimmy say that? I have no chance. Every girl in the school loves Jimmy.
“Hello? Snot face! I’m still here!” Jimmy asks, once again. He’s such an annoying little…. I’m going to stop myself there.
“What do you want now?” I say in the same tone as before.
“I want to make sure that you understand. If you tell Alicia, or ask her out, I will make this year living hell for you. And let’s not forget that little photo I have of you.”
