"What do you think it could mean?" I mumble, looking at the black ink on my wrist. 

"Maybe you'll meet him at the beach?" Dylan, my best friend, questions. 

"I don't think it's that simple. I mean my mom and dad both had the breast cancer ribbon because both of their mom's had breast cancer. That's not that self explanatory. It has to have a deeper meaning," I sigh, tracing the lines with my finger. 

"What do you think mine means?" She asks. I look down at the Saturn tattoo on her wrist. 

"Maybe you meet him on Saturn," I giggle. 

"Or maybe he liked it so much he put a ring on it," She laughs. My laughter gets louder and soon, I'm gasping for air because I'm laughing so hard. 

"Can you keep it down?" Caden, Dylan's older brother, groans as he pokes his head in her room. I pick up a pillow and throw it at him. He rolls his eyes and walks out. 

"Why doesn't Caden like me?" I ask, looking over at Dylan. 

"I don't know." She bites her lip, something she does when she's lying. 

"You do know. Tell me, Dylan!" I jump to my feet as I stare at her. 

"I want to, I really do. But that's Caden's business. He needs to be the one to tell you," She sighs. I roll my eyes. 

"I thought you were on my side," I groan, grabbing my phone and walking out of her bedroom.

"I am on your side!" Dylan yells. 

"Whatever, I'll see you at school tomorrow," I mumble as I walk down the stairs, taking two steps at a time. 

"You okay?" Caden asks from the kitchen.

"Like you care," I groan, opening their front door and slamming it. I storm across their yard to my house.

It's times like this I hate living next to the Conrique's. It makes it easier for them to get to me, to talk to me. 

I pass my mother and go to the back yard. I run towards the shed and open the door. I close it behind me and sit in one of the bean bag chairs. 

A few minutes later, there's a knock on the door. 

"Go away, Dylan," I groan. The door swings open.

"It's.. um... not Dylan."  I look up to see Caden at the door.
