Andy
I don't know why I'm so nervous to facetime Rye.
We've met before.
We're friends I guess.
I just.. I don't even know.
I fix my hair and press the call button.
Soon enough Ryes face appears on my screen.
"Hey," he smirks.
"Hi," I smile, a slight blush creeping on my cheeks.
"You look great," he compliments me.
"I'm exhausted. I don't know what you're talking about," I disagree.
"Shut up, mate. I can tell you're tired. I can hear the rasp in your voice. It's hot," he says.
"Fuck off," I chuckle.
"I think We both know my response to that so I'm not even gonna say it at this point," he smiles.
I don't know EXACTLY what his response would be, but I know it's bad.
"You look great though as well," I say, shyly.
"Andy," he says, looking at the camera.
"Hm?" I ask.
"Stop acting shy around me. Loosen up a bit, babe," he says.
"Sorry.. Just.. Not used to this haha," I say.
"It's alright," he says. "So what's new with you?"
"Nothing really, mate. Still writing music all the time," I chuckle.
"That's good! I wish I had HALF the talent you do when it comes to writing," he says.
"You're good at writing music, Rye. Give yourself some credit," I tell him.We talk for HOURS, and ironicaly not about spanish which was the original reason for facetiming in the first place.
"Rye..?" I ask, seeing his eyes closed.
No response.
"Goodnight, Ryan," I smile, before going to sleep myself, not bothering to hang up.
