That night, the four friends sat on the couch all laughing and crying together to Mean Girls. Shoveling spoonfuls of delicious ice cream into their mouths, and trying their bests to ignore the problem. And although she tried to put up her best fake smile, the others could see how broken up she was inside.

Meanwhile, in LA a curly haired boy sat in the living room, still staring at a text message on his phone from hours ago. Although he didn't want to admit it to himself, he wished that he hadn't been so harsh and listened instead. And while he too, tried to hide his pain behind a smile, his four best friends saw that something was bothering him. Except, unlike her, he hadn't told the others about what happened, and instead choose to close himself off. Away from the people who cared about him the most.
