Nikki's POV
It took exactly a moment to sink in on what I just concluded.
Justin Bieber is here.
The thought repeated in my. head multiple times in my head.
I just stood outside of my tent, unable to move. Despite the flock of people surrounding him, I could still see him from where I'm standing.
He was hugging kids and giving them high fives. Ladies were trying to get a hug from him. He was carrying kids, giving them piggy back rides. He was making his way towards a public school where I spent my years as an elementary.
I ran my way towards the school gates before Justin's security guards closed and locked them. A few people were outside, some from the media.
I followed the people who were lucky enough to go inside the school grounds. In fact, a lot of people were able to go inside. I squeezed my way through the crowd, trying to get closer to the stage but the crowd was strong and a couldn't go any further.
Excited screams suddenly erupted in the crowd. My head turned towards the stage and that's when I stopped breathing.
Justin was making his way towards the stage. He was smiling and was still wearing his cap and shades. Dan Kanter was sitting on a stool beside Justin, holding a guitar in his hands. Justin adjusts the microphone and pats it lightly to see if it is working.
In an instant, music filled my ears.
"Hello, everyone"
Oh. My. God.
"Since it's almost Christmas time and ya'll need something to feel it really is Christmas," he talks through the mic. He pauses for a moment and starts talking again. "Here is a song that you all can probably relate to." Can my life get any better than this? "It goes something like this."
Dan then starts playing a familiar tune that made me shriek with delight. All heads turned to me but that soon ended the moment when Justin started singing.
"It's the most beautiful time of the year, lights filled the streets spreading so much cheer, I should be playing in the winter snow but imma be under the Misletoe."
His voice was just so beautiful that I can't put it into words. He sang with so much passion and beautifully.
I was literally melting and so were the other girls in the audience.
There were a group of girls right beside me who were also typhoon victims. One of them was Leah Villarmosa. She was one of my classmates at school and her family owns a successful bakery that's located a few blocks away from my house.
Her parents were killed by during the storm when a the fierce wind blew down a huge acacia tree, only her and her older brother survived.
A huge smile erupted on Leah's face and it is the first time she smiled ever since her parents' died. Her brother was standing beside her, wearing a small smile and looking at his little sister adoringly.
The sight made me close to tears. How I wish mama and Jay-Jay were still here. They would be very happy.
I will always remember how mama and I talk - and even fangurl - about Justin. We were always updated about his whereabouts and his music. The day when the Believe album was released, we immediately bought it. We cried listening to Be Alright.
"Word on the streets says Santa's coming tonight, reindeer flying in the sky so high. I should be making a list I know but imma be under the Misletoe.
