Part 1: But the pizza!

"Autumn, you're seriously doing this?" my best friend, Brooke asked. She bit her bottom lip.

"Yeah, there's nothing to lose. Why not?"

"Oh I don't know, I mean, you could be killed but you know, it's no big deal!" Brooke exclaimed.

I rolled my eyes. This was it. I was going to die...

I fell back on the carpet and groaned as the words Game Over appeared on the tv screen.

"Ha! I win!" Brooke smiled.

"Yeah yeah, whatever. Another round?" I asked.

Brooke laughed. "Aw, is someone a sore loser?"

Again, I rolled my eyes. "No, anyways, want pizza?"

"I don't like pizza!", Brooke paused, laughing as I stared at her like she had another head, "I LOVEEEE pizza."

As I called the pizza place, Brooke looked around at my house. It wasn't often for her coming to my house. It was usually vise-versa. It wasn't like I was scared to invite her, it was just because of my family.

My dad left us when we were 9, my mom was a gambler and would come home once every week, and my twin...Summer. She was okay. We were total opposites. Don't let her fool you with her looks.

She's evil!

"Speaking of the devil..." I muttered.

"Hey Brooke!" Summer squealed giving her a smile.

Brooke smiled or at least tried to. Brooke wasn't a big fan of Summer, ever since Summer kissed her crush right in front of her in 4th grade.

It only seemed like yesterday when that happened.

"Autumn", Summer raised an eyebrow, "What are you doing here?"

"It's my house...what kinda question is that..?"

"Well you're never home so I just assumed-"

"Never home!? Never home!!! I'm home all the time, you're just never home because you're fucking every boy you meet"

"How dare you! Are you calling me what I think you are?!" Summer said glaring at me. She clenched her fists.

This was common for the two of us to be arguing. One little thing and bam- we're fighting again.

"Summer, I refuse to argue. I have things to do right now. I really don't have time for this."

"You don't have time for your own twin? You're disgusting. Absolutely disgusting."

I pushed back the overflowing emotions. I was angry, sad, hurt, hungry- Autumn, this isn't the time.

"Don't talk to me Summer. Brooke, cmon let's go to Starbucks"

"What?! But the pizza!" (A/N: who leaves pizza honestly? I'll take it!)

"Brooke." I warned.

"Fine, lets go. Bye Summer"

Summer nodded. I felt her eyes glaring at me as I walked out the house, slamming the door behind me.

We drove to the Starbucks and claimed a table.

"Brooke, how could she say that to me?" I cried, putting my face into my hands.

"Girl, I support you in everything. But you did overreact and started it."

I looked up and glared at her.

"Excuse me? Did I hear that right? You're on her side?"

"Autumn, I'm not choosing sides. I'm just saying."

"I thought you were suppose to be my best friend!"

"Autumn! I'm just choosing what's right!"

"So you're saying I'm not right..." I said wiping my tears away.

Brooke was silent.

"What a good friend you are," I said storming out.

I looked down, watching my footsteps, trying to hold back my tears.

I bumped into someone.

"I'm so sorry!" I said looking up.

"I'm sorry, I guess..." The person said.

"Kayden?!" I exclaimed.

Kayden, the school's common player, bad boy, and the guy that every girl would kill to have him. Except he was a dirty jerk to me at least.

"Oh it's you," He said glaring at me, "never mind then, I'm not sorry."

I crossed my arms.

"Aw did someone break up with you? Poor you. So you think that you can accidentally bump into me and think I'll take you and be your little boy for the night?"

.......

What the hell? How could he say that to any girl? Screw him!

My eyes watered a little, but I took a deep breath.

"Think before you talk. You don't know what's going on. Just leave me alone" I said before walking away.
