Part Seven

(Bill)

I feel my soul slip from my body and into Dipper's mind.

I land in a dark void.

"Mason?" I call out.

No answer.

I shrug and start walking forward.

I suddenly hear crying.

"Dipper...?"

I run toward the sound.

I spot Dipper in chained in a red cage, crying.

"I shouldn't have been so weak. I shouldn't have given in... Why couldn't I..." he sniffles.

"Mason!" I yell.

"Bill...?"

He spots me and turns away.

"This isn't real! It's just one of Zekeal's games... I-It can't be... You're not real..." he says bursting into tears.

"I'm real Mason. It's me. Bill," I say grabbing Dipper's hand.

"N-No... It can't be..."

He rubs my hand for a second, and then frowns.

"Your shouldn't be here. The Monster will kill you," Mason says bitterly.

"The Monster?"

Panic spreads across Dipper's face.

"He's coming."

He sinks into his cage.

"Dipper!" I yell as I reach for him.

...But he's already gone.

I turn around to face Mason's demon.

The thing grins at me.

"HeLLo BilL," it smiles.

The Monster's hand reaches towards me with inhuman speed.

I draw my sword and slice it in half.

The Monster screams a horrid scream.

"What are you?" I demand.

"sOmeThiNg ThaT CaN'T be KiLLeD."

"We shall see about that you monster."

It growls at me and lunges.

I deliver skilled blows after skilled blows.

"You fight well... but how strong are you against MAgiC?" It asks.

It raises its hand and a red light shoots from it.

It breaks my sword.

"Oh nO! I HaVE BrOKeN YouR WeAPoN!"

"You bastard... You fight with no honor!" I yell.

The Monster grabs my arm and breaks it.

"Now... It's about time you leave," it says.

A few tears fall from my face.

"Dipper... My love... I'm so sorry... I couldn't save you..."

Suddenly, the pain in my arm dissipates.

I open my eyes and see the Monster screaming on the ground.

"aHhAhhHHHaa!" It screams.

"WhAT HavE YoU DoNE?!"

"What in the hell...?"

"EnD mE," It pleads.

The Monster summons a sword.

I grab it and press the end against the Monster's throat.

I push and hear the organs of the Monster fail.

The Monster lays still.

"Bill?"

I turn around and see Mason, holding his arm.

His face is bloody and tired.

"Mason..."

We run towards each other and hug each other.

I kiss him with a fire-like passion.

I wipe away Dipper's tears.

"Are you ok?" I ask.

He nods and smiles.

"Are you?" He asks.

"Yes... Mason, I'm so sorry for what I did. I'm sorry... Do you forgive me?"

"Of course I do! I love you too much. I can't lose you..." he says kissing me.

I pull him closer.

"I can't lose you," I whisper.

"Let's get Gideon," he growls.

I nod.

"Come on."

A golden door appears next to us.

I kick open the door.

"Let's go," the love of my life says with fury in his eyes.
