"—what's up with smiles?"
I took a bite out of my sandwich as I nodded and just let Jaemin ramble about his new friends, "(name), are you even listening to me?" He asked
"Yeah, that's cool, nana," I nodded, not paying attention to him, as I continued scrolling down through my phone
"Yah!" He shouted and before I knew it, he already flicked my forehead causing me to almost fall back and hissed in pain,
I glared at him, "that hurt!"
"you should have paid attention to me," he argues, crossing his arm across his chest
I hissed again, but didn't bother arguing back, and I saw him immediately soften, "I'm really sorry, (name),"
"It's okay," I took a sip on my drink, "it does not hurt that much," I tried convincing him but instead he run to my side
He then hugged me, "I'm so sorry, (name)," he apologized,
"Trust me, it's okay,"
"I don't believe you, and because of that, I'm going to buy you some milk tea after school," he announced and normally I would grin and hugged him back,
But when I was about to do so, I met a pair of eyes, that Chinese kid is looking at my direction again, but when I was about to smile kindly he looked away obviously mimicking his actions earlier, "that's literally the third time today," I murmured, "does my smile look so bad?" I asked
"No, not at all," Jaemin answered, "so, are you in?" He asked and I was about to reply when the bell rang,
"Let's hurry up," I said and stood up, and as I was about to exit the cafeteria I took a glance at the Chinese boy, and it surprised me when I saw him smiling

"Hey, Donghyuck," I nudge the sleeping boy beside me, it was last period and the bell just rang, yet the boy is still sleeping, I sigh and proceed on gathering and arranging my stuff, "seriously Donghyuck," I shook my head, the boy was still sleeping soundly
"Where are you going?" Jaemin asked,
"Library," I replied, still gathering my things
"What? Why?" He asked
I looked at him for a second, "I'm going to study for that one lesson in Chemistry that still frustrates me,"
He groaned, "but you can study next week," "the finals are a week away, so stop worrying too much,"
I shook my head, "But I'm sure it's going to be hectic next week and I want to study as early as I can so that I'm going to be chill while you guys are going nuts,"
