Chapter 3

I massaged my forehead as I walked out of the door which Rak has opened by instinct.

The test is very simple, yet hard for some people. You must open the real door amongst 12 doors. We we're only given 5 minutes to choose the right one.

The untrusting one will reject the hints. But the trusting one will accept the hints. I belong to the first category with Khun. I don't believe the hints that the guava man gave us.

It hurts my pride to say this. But without Rak and Bam, all of us will fail the test because of me and Khun.

---Later---

I sighed as I sat next to Bam, "This test was hard, indeed. A lot of the teams didn't make it up here." Bam spoke to Khun who was standing in front of him.

Khun answered, "Hmph- but there are more here than I thought."

I continued his words, "Looks like more than 20 teams has passed." And in hushed voice, "But the question remains, friends or foes?"

"Well, I'll be going to the bathroom." Khun went away and asked the guide.

I stood up and strecthed my body. I noticed the purple track suit guy. "Hey! Lucky boy! You passed this one, too!" He shakes Bam's hand.

"I'm Shibisu, the same regular as you! Nice to meet you! And yours?"

"Oh! I-I'm Bam!" Bam replied nervously but smiling.

"What's the name of you teammates?" Shibisu asked while looking at me and Rak.

"I'm leader Rak."

"Leader Rak?"

"I'm the true leader of the era." Rak said without any expression on his face.

I stiffle a laugh after hearing Rak's words. "(Y/N). Nice to meet you Shibisu." I 'two-finger salute' him.

"Nice to meet you too." Shibisu returned the gesture. I walked away because I don't want to interrupt their conversation. Rak will interfere if he asked too much informations.

"Did you have enough rest? Regulars?" That voice. Him! I turn my head to the entrance of the waiting room.

Mr. Lero Ro stood there with Yellow behind him, "Haha- I came here with very good news."

'Good news?'

"I talked with the top supervisor before I came here. She told is to give you a bonus game!"

"Sorry but, it's not good for us to have more tests!" Shibisu denied.

Mr. Ro merely smiled, "I'm sorry to hear that. The bonus game had nothing to do with the test. It is up to each team to choose whether to play or not. There is no penalty if you don't participate."

His smile widened, "But the winner of this bonus game, gets to pass the final test of this floor. They get the right to go straight to the next floor."

His last words brought the attentions of all regulars. "The right to go to the next floor? Then what about the remaining tests?" Khun loudly asked.

"They don't have to take them."

Chatters grew amongst the regulars.

One regular decided to ask, "so, what is the bonus game?"

"The game is called 'the crown game'. I will explain the details to you when we get to the game spot."
