I woke up to a terrible smell and a tiny speck of sun on my face that peered through a window in the ceiling. My whole body felt like I have been laying in the snow for days. I could barely move my arms or my head. I could already tell that this was not my home, it would never smell like death, mold or blood. I tried to sit up but there was something holding me down. I could feel the leather straps around my arms and around the waist. I'm so confused and for once I am terrified. I hear a person cough next to me. At least I'm still able to move my head enough to look around. At first, my vision is blurry, but soon after my eyes adjust it begins to come into focus, clear as the day sky. I was in a large open room strapped to a metal table surrounded by others who were in the same condition. Everyone around me appeared lifeless. We all just laid there, as still and as the dead, we were terrified of what would come if we dared to move or even breathe. I heard a slowed cry that soon got louder and louder

"Please don't do this!!!..... Nononono!..... Please stop!!!..... HELP!!!!!"

It fell silent once again. This seemed to happen all day or so it seemed. Strange people would come in and take someone and then they would never come back out. My head is throbbing from all the screams and cries and the yelling for help, but all of us had to lay and hear the horror and pain that the other person was in and frightened that we would be the next victim. The small speck of light that was shining on my face that gave me warmth and comfort quickly disappeared when I was surrounded by the monsters who took everyone else in the room to their fate.

I was pushed through two-sided doors into a long hallway that went on for several minutes till we finally came to a room where they jolted me to a stop. The door on the other side of me finally opened and a man stepped out. He wore a big black winter coat and had a belt across his chest and it looked like there were about 2 kukri knives on it.

¨Is she the one we've been waiting for?¨ he said with a stern face as they pushed me by. ¨Yep, she's the one," the person driving my table said. He wore a blazer and a buttoned white shirt under it. We finally come to stop and I can hear their footsteps leave the room. I'm stuck staring at the ceiling for a long time until I finally force myself to look around. To my left was the door I had been forced to enter, and to my right was another table, with a girl that looked as cold as ice. I almost screamed, but I knew that would only bring whoever is doing this back in here. The girl has blonde hair that was laid gracefully at her side, and she looked strong, but also insecure. Her breaths were steady but slow. She seemed to be holding on to life with a thread, and she was determined not to let it get cut. I wanted to look away and back at the ceiling when I heard someone speak.

¨You-....you-.....Need to get out of here ...while you can.¨ Her voice was soft and peaceful, but what she said made me shutter.

The doors finally opened and several people wearing white coats followed behind another through the door. Soon I was completely surrounded, and the last of my nightmare ended with a burning pain at my heart.
