-Theo POV-

"They're here."

Ryder's face went from annoyed to shocked and angry. He stood up while speaking, "I thought I told you to take care of them before they arrived, Alex."

I assumed 'Alex' was the person at the door earlier talking to Ryder.

"I did but they had reinforcements."

"Where exactly are they now?" Ryder began to quickly walk towards the door, leaving me behind.

"Outside. One of the security guards positioned at the gate called me and warned that they broke through it."

By now Ryder was pretty much running out the door, being followed by the blue haired man. I didn't know what to do at the moment, watching them leave me alone I sighed louder than I wanted to. I guess Ryder suddenly remembered me because before he closed the door behind them, he did a 180 degrees turn and gestured me to come with them. I stood up and hurriedly walked towards them. Ryder twisted his head to the side and said, "Alex, take Theo to you know where."

He nodded in reply and Ryder took off down the hall to wherever he was going, leaving me once again. The frosty-haired man placed his hand on my bony shoulder and spoke, "Come with me." He then flashed a smile showing no teeth, letting his arm drop back to his side and turned around. We went down the long staircase and arrived at the bottom. I glanced up to him, expecting him to show me to the place he was supposed to bring me. I heard gunshots and screams coming from nearby. He glanced down to me and placed his long pointer finger on his pink lips. With him being closer, I saw he had onyx eyes and much like Ryder, he obtained broad shoulders and small hips.

He led me to the side of the staircase. I was expecting to be led to the basement, through a hidden trap door in the floor and not a wall. He pressed his right hand against an area on the white wall and smirked at my confused face. The wall formed a dark blue horizontal line where his hand was pressed, moving down and back up, carefully scanning his hand. The perimeter of a rectangle was made and it pushed in on its own, then moved to the side. It revealed an entrance that was pitch black and sent chilled air out the door.

There were more gunshots, this time it was closer. I saw that the inky-eyed man was now grabbing a gun from a holster positioned on his waist, placing his hand on my back and gently pushing me into the rectangular darkness. "Stay here and don't come out unless either Ryder or I say otherwise." He told me with a deeper and more serious voice.

"O-okay..." From inside I saw him move his shoulders to the side and positioned himself to shoot something with his gun. He fired and I heard a body drop to the ground while he quickly closed the wall back to where it was before. I wondered if there was a light switch anywhere in the area I was in, so I blindly began to touch the walls, hoping to find something to turn a light on. My fingers lightly traced along a switch.

Bingo.

-No POV-

An attack.

One of the many rivals the Crimson Fangs
had decided to attack. It didn't last very long due to the outnumbering. Alex had made his way through the halls and finally met up with Ryder who was surrounded with lifeless bodies. The rest of the gang killed the others but left one alive to interrogate later. Ryder had the maids and crew clean up the mess while he headed towards Theo. He finally made it to Theo after opening the passageway. To his surprise, Theo was sitting and reading and hadn't even realized that Ryder was in his presence. After a moment of standing there, Theo looked up and saw Ryder.

He shot up from the floor and dropped the book in his hands while Ryder walked towards him while extending his hand. Theo stumbled while stepping back, he quickly dodged Ryder's arm and bolted towards the only place he knew in the house, Ryder's room. Theo ran all the way to Ryder's room and hid. He had done that since he was a small child. Ryder walked towards the room still shocked by Theo's previous actions. He opened the door slightly only to hear a muffled sobbing emitting from the closed bathroom door. He made his way over to the bathroom door and sighed before knocking.

"Are-" Ryder tried to form a question before getting cut off by Theo.

"Go away..." Theo slightly shifted around the bathroom floor.

'Excuse me?!' Ryder was never okay with someone telling him what to do. He was bewildered and angry because Ryder just wanted to see if the sobbing male was okay.

Theo had forgotten to lock the door due to his need to hide, making it easier for Ryder to get in. Ryder grabbed the handle and pushed through the door causing Theo's heartbeat to race faster.

"First of all, you don't talk to me like that. Secondly, you don't tell me what to do. Nobody does." Ryder was furious, he was never really good at controlling his emotions. Theo started to cry even harder while repeatedly apologizing, who couldn't handle being yelled at. Theo had drawn Ryder's attention and realized what he had just done. He ambled towards Theo and bent down next to him.

-Theo POV-

Ryder had bent down in front of me, I was scared when he did. He had just yelled at me. The only other person to yell at me was Sebastian, I was crying because many immoral memories came back at that moment.

"Theo I'm...sorry. I didn't mean to yell sometimes I-I just can't control my emotions." Ryder said in an attempt to stop Theo's tears from trickling down his face.

"I-it's not your fault, I just remembered some things I wish I could erase from my mind." Theo said planting a slight smile on his face.

Ryder wanted to know more about these incidents in Theo's past but knew it wasn't the right time to ask.

Ryder had stood up and stretched his hand out for me to grab, I gladly took it and we both headed out of the bathroom. We walked over to the couches and sat down across from each other. It was slightly awkward so I decided to break the silence.

"Do you mind telling me what all that was about, Ryder."
