it had been a few days since jeno had stopped talking to jaemin. the younger always messaging him to ask him if he was okay, but jeno never replied.
no, he wasn't mad at jaemin. it wasn't bad that he could make out his face in his memories.
after all, that was what jeno wanted.
but he still couldn't contain the amount of pain he felt every time jaemin said they had just met and that they were only friends.
deciding to skip school, jeno laid down on his left side, looking at the right side of the bed that was empty.
that made his heart clench.
and it didn't help that it was raining outside, the soft patter of rain drops against the window seemingly mocking him.
the raven head simply stared at the empty space, his hand absentmindedly rubbing the bed that was ice cold.
jeno sighed closing his eyes and shaking his head as if he was trying to snap out of his depressive state, not wanting to think about it anymore.
which didn't last long because about ten minutes later, the raven head picked up his phone and began to scroll through an old group chat with all of his friends and jaemin from when they were juniors in high school.
least to say it made him cry more and all of a sudden, the rain wasn't mocking him anymore.
it was more of a competition to see who could have water fall from them the longest. them being the clouds and jeno's tear ducts.
