Meet cute

While slowly tapping away into a trance Kondou's fingers felt slightly numb with every keystroke. He was entering in the rest of today's data and slightly hated every moment of it. Along with the numbness he was feeling pretty zoned out and just wanted this day to be over with. Heavily regretting his decision to pull another all nighter when all he did was scribble down half-arsed thoughts. The strong motivation he felt was dropping again, slowly crumbling away bit by bit, he really didn't want to fall prey to the 'dreaded writers block' once again. It was eating at his confidence every day and even more so than it did a year ago. Kondou's fingers had finally given up with tapping away, He decided it was time for his smoke break to ease the stress back to a manageable level. Leaning back in his chair and rubbing his eyes he proceeded to lift his body out of manager mode and take a few minutes to unwind. He propped the window open, lit up a cigarette and began to puff away all of his stresses and worries. 

Slowly his mind drifted away along with the smoke and thoughts filled his imagination with the pouring rain, It was odd as the scenery right in front of him was a beautiful sunset but for some reason he just felt so unworthy of its natural beauty. The rain did have its charms though, It always reminded him of her. The sides of his mouth began to slowly form somewhat of a smile."Tachibana..." Kondou exhaled out a smoke filled sigh. He would think about Tachibana alot, nothing out of spite or perverse. Just plain simple thoughts of how she might be doing at school or if she had got back into running again However his mind wondered of a thought, a thought Kondou never asked himself before. "What if she has a boyfriend?" He sighed in a hush tone under his breath. He started to feel a sense of guilty jealousy but he scoffed at the thought of being jealous over something so trivial. Kondou puffed the rest of the cigarette and closed the window back up, slowing closing away the rain in his thoughts as well. "I will never know silly details like that..." He rubbed the back of his neck and made his way over to the dreaded keyboard again. A knock at the door interrupted him from sitting back down. "Come on in?" Kondou sheepishly replied to the knock. Yui came tumbling in through the door, cheerful as always. 

"Ahhh sorry to interrupt! Kondou-San! There is 'someone' here to meet you! They're waiting in booth 10!" Yui explained while trying to hide the grin her face showed by hiding behind the office door. Kondou gave her an effortless filled thumbs up and followed her out of the office.

"Thanks for letting me know Yui-chan." Kondou expressed his thanks but felt abit uneasy about who it was he was meeting.  He briskly walked through the kitchen prep area and out into the main restaurant. He scouted out booth 10 and made his way to it. Kondou could see someone sitting there but couldn't quite make out who it was as they were facing away from him. He really didn't want to be shouted at again by a customer, today was not the day for it. He shuffled up slowly to the booth and locked eyes with the person who wanted to meet with him.

Those big indigo eyes looking back at him, He couldn't mistake them, they were her eyes.
