"Then it was revealed that there wasn't even a murderer in the first place! How disappointing." Yuri sighed, casually twirling her purple hair around her index finger. She was trying to explain what was happening in the book she was reading to Natsuki, but her friend clearly couldn't care less. Natsuki had never shown interest in any other type of literature that wasn't manga, so it wasn't even a surprise to Yuri when Natsuki began ignoring her. Natsuki's ignoring skills were almost impressive. Almost. Natsuki tightened her two side pony tails before walking into the clubroom's closet, a determined look appearing on her face. Yuri couldn't help but cringe. She had always found Natsuki's hairstyle rather strange, but decided it was best to not bring it up. Yuri dropped the book she was holding onto a nearby desk, slowly taking a few steps closer to the closet door. Placing her hand on the frame, she peaked inside.

Natsuki was dragging a stool with three legs across the tiled floor, placing it near the shelves. The sound it was making when it moved had made Yuri's skin crawl. She hopped onto it, holding onto one of the bottom shelves for support. Natsuki held out her other hand for balance, failing to stop the wobbly chair from shaking. Clearly, if she wasn't careful enough, she would fall. Yuri stood there in silence, listening to Natsuki murmur something about Monika and high shelves when she attempted to reach her Manga collection. She had kept her manga inside the clubroom for several reasons, but when Monika allowed her to she wasn't expecting her to move it almost every week. Yuri hesitated before walking inside. "Need help?" She questioned with a small smile, glancing at the box overflowing with colorful books. It was so bright compared to everything else in the room. Yuri was the same height as the shelf Natsuki was reaching for, and even though she could grab the box with ease, the chances of Natsuki letting her help were as tiny as she was.

"Nope!" Natsuki replied bitterly, returning to standing on the tip of her toes just to get closer to the box. The stool shook aggressively under Natsuki as she tried using her fingers to inch the box in her direction. Unfortunately, that only moved it farther. Yuri sighed impatiently, grabbing the box and taking a few steps away from Natsuki so she could safely get down. Natsuki glared up at her, gently kicking the stool back into it's corner after jumping off it. "Why'd you do that? I was really close to reaching my stuff on my own!" She complained, crossing her arms and looking away. Yuri just smiled. "Well, you're welcome." She replied, walking outside of the closet with Natsuki, holding the box for her while she watched her lock the door. She didn't plan on arguing with her over some silly books. "Huh?" Everyone in the clubroom looked towards the doors when they heard Sayori fling them open.

"We have a new club member!" She beamed, practically glowing when she walked in the room holding someone's hand. Natsuki curiously watched from afar while standing next to Yuri, trying to act like she didn't care. The only other person who seemed to recognize the blue haired stranger was Monika, because instead of her normal greeting she hugged her. Yuri froze once they had pulled apart, finally obtaining the chance to observe their face. She still didn't know who they were, but she did know that they were drop dead gorgeous. The way her piercing black eyes sparkled made Yuri's heart race. If it were possible for hearts to appear in Yuri's eyes, then they would be there. She could feel her face heat up the longer she stared, yet she couldn't look away. When the new girl turned her way, giving her one of the cutest smiles and waving, Yuri totally panicked and dropped the heavy box of manga she was holding on natsuki's foot when she attempted to wave back. Yuri hastily backed away, her eyes widening when she heard Natsuki yelp in pain. Maybe she was faking it, but it truly sounded like that hurt. "Nat! Are you okay? I'm so, so, so sorry!" Yuri apologized several times, feeling embarrassed. She couldn't believe she was dumb enough to try waving while holding a box.

"Am I okay?! You just dropped a box on my foot!" Natsuki growled, angrily picking her manga box up from the ground. She gave Yuri a major death glare before walking away, sending a shiver down Yuri's spine. She had never imagined Natsuki looking at anyone like that, especially her. The giddy feeling she felt before when she was looking at the new member was gone now. Before she could think of what just happened in detail, she noticed the cute new girl walking towards her direction and panicked, again. She was the worst at socializing, therefor she hated it with a passion. After what just happened, she definitely wasn't ready to get laughed at by someone who she already thought was cooler than her by far. She stood there shyly hiding behind her hair, wishing she could disappear as she waited for the girl to say something. Natsuki looked behind her shoulder, watching Sayori's childhood best friend, Dahlia, smirk as she introduced herself to Yuri. She rolled her eyes before returning to re-reading the first book of parfait girls by herself. She was never going to admit she was jealous that Yuri got the chance to talk to her, but that definitely wasn't going to stop her from thinking about it.
