Cain held the little bundle above his head. The baby suckled on her pacifier peacefully as he held her up towards the light examining the strange and shocking surprise that was left in their care.
"Inigo," whined Cain over his shoulder. "I don't think we can do this."
"What are you talking about," Inigo yelled from the other room. "If Mariam said we could do this then I believe we can." Inigo came into the room with diapers and baby wipes. "I never got to known her, but you did and you trusted her, right?" He dumped all the contents on the bed.
"Yeah," frowned Cain. "But why did she have to leave us her baby. We should be the last people to raise her. I don't even know how babies' function. There's no manual!"
"We can do this," Inigo said encouragingly.
"I mean what was she thinking. Me raise a baby, a witch for crying out loud, I can't do that," Cain continued frantically pacing around the room with the baby in his hands.
"Cain," Inigo yelled and grabbed him firmly on his shoulders. "Cain we can do this." He talked sternly but in a calming in soothing voice. "You're not alone in this. I'm here too and I want to do this."
Inigo moved them towards a comfortable spot on the bed and they sat together. "Just look at her isn't Ophelia cute."
"I mean of course she is," he mumbled looking down at her.
"Look," said Inigo. "She has your cute nose and my soft cheeks."
Cain rolled his eyes. "Sure, she does."
Inigo brought his eyes up to his. "She's ours and that's all that matters." He went in for a kiss but was interrupted by Ophelia crying.
"It's okay Ophelia," cooed Cain but this resulted in a louder cry. "What do we do."
"Check her diaper," suggested Inigo.
Cain looked at Ophelia. "Sorry," he mumbled and peeked. "Nothing."
"Maybe she's hungry."
Cain grabbed a bottle of formula and placed it on her mouth, but Ophelia wiggled her head away and continued to cry louder. Suddenly things around the room began to glow and float.
"What's going on," asked Inigo.
"I don't know," said Cain but I think Ophelia is doing it.
"What do we do," he yelled frantically as he began to float around.
Cain quickly grabbed Ophelia who began to float away as well but soon he was too.
"WE NEED HELP," yelled Inigo.
Cain agreed, pulled out his phone, and tapped in on his contacts.

Sand was washing the dishes when she heard the phone ring.
"Blue, honey could you get the phone please," she yelled.
Blue, her 4 year-old son, came into the room, jumped on a stool, and picked up the phone.
"Hello, Waterson residence who's this," he answered.
"BLUE," yelled Cain on the other line scaring the small boy. "Get me your mother it's an emergency."
"Okay," he said jumping off and held out the phone to his mother. "Mother it's uncle Cain. He said it was an emergency."
Sand took the phone slightly concerned and placed it on her ear. "Hey Cain, what's going on," she asked.
"SAND," yelled Cain. "I need you here now at my place. I got a baby and I don't know what to do with her she's making us float around – Gosh dammit Inigo stop acting that you're in space this is an emergency." Just then the phone hung up.
Sand looked at Blue worriedly. "Blue get your sisters baby bag were going to your uncles place."

I'M BACK...
Yes I'm not dead very alive actually (actually no I'm very dead and writing this from the spirit world). I'm going to try to write more often. School has been great (not the sarcasm there) and if I don't write as much I truly apologize.
Thanks for reading!
