The Delivery Part 3

"I see," said Sand running her hand through her hair. She sat quietly on the floor taking in all the secrets these two held. "This is a lot to take in."

"Yeah," said Cain. "We're still trying to come to terms too."

"What are you guys going to do," she asked.

"Well," said Cain looking at Inigo. "We're going to raise her and keep her safe just as we promised."

Inigo smiled happily acknowledging that Cain had trust that they could raise her.

"What about her powers. It's only going to get stronger as she grows." Sand looks around the room. "This is now. What if she hurts someone next."

"She won't," said Cain sternly. "Not as long as she has her pacifier."

"She can't always use her pacifier." Sand stated as a matter of fact.

"It's not the pacifier itself it's the stone on the pacifier," Inigo pointed out. "It's a special stone that is used on witches by the Guardians to keep their powers at bay. Looking at Ophelia it seems to take her powers down by at least more than 75%."

"But won't that be a problem when she grows older," questioned Sand.

"Maybe," responded Cain, "but if it keeps her safe and off the radar it will be for the best."

"So, you guys won't tell her anything."

Both men looked at one another. "I think it's better we don't," said Cain. Inigo quietly agreed.

Sand sighed. "I'm not sure if that's the best choice but if you guys think it is then fine who am I to judge. You guys have my support in anything just know that."

"Thanks Sand," both thanked. "Now I think the best thing to do now is to clean up. After that I'll give you guys a crash course on taking care of a baby."
