Steve was having it just as bad, Ever since he ran into Greer at Hennessy's room at his hotel, He couldn't stop thinking about her, He was lonely, & is not sure that if getting involved with her is a smart choice or not. "God, She is just as beautiful as I remember her", He thought to himself, As he was trying to relax, as Danny was driving him home, & stay with him. The Seal was too tired to argue, Besides he had other things on his mind.
"Buddy, Are you sure that you are okay ?", Danny asked with concern, as he broke through the former seal's thoughts, Steve smiled, & said, "Yeah, I am, I just want to shower, & eat a little something, Before we call it a night", as he slowly went to sit down, just for a second. Steve rested his eyes, & felt really glad to be home from his awful ordeal. The Five-O Commander was glad that Greer was there, Otherwise, He would've been dead at the hands of Kang.
Danny brought them out sandwiches, & soup, He knew that Strve couldn't handle more than that right now, "I am gonna get Greer the biggest box of chocolates ever, I am just glad that she was there to cover your ass, & make sure that you survive this whole ordeal", Danny said, as he was feeling tired too. Steve said with a tired smile, "She would appreciate it", & finished up his dinner, He went up slowly to wash up, & change.
Danny managed to get everything all organized, & made sure that Steve didn't have to worry about a thing, & he cleaned up everything. He used the bathroom downstairs, & got changed into his pajamas, & got some drinks, & snacks out for the movies that they are gonna watch, before they went to bed.
The Next Morning, Steve was still a little frazzled after what happened on the ship, & he was keeping his guard up. He thought he heard a noise, but he realized it was Danny puttering around the kitchen, making them breakfast. The Former Seal smiled, cause he was lucky to have the blond as a friend in his life, & not take him for granted. Steve went up to shower in his room, while Danny used the guest room, & they were in bed in a matter of minutes, as they were settled in.
As Steve was showering, He couldn't believe how good it felt seeing Greer, & spending time with her, while they were in the field, & trying to solve the case, before more people got hurt, & killed, The Five-O Commander was just glad that it was all over with, & everything was okay. Once, He felt better, He was ready to start the day, The Five-OCommander is ready to fight for his life, & to get back to normal, as soon as possible, Cause he wants to be happy, & he feels like he deserves it, & is due.
