The Begnning

My long ponytail swaying as I timidly walked down the open corridor. Doors sprinkled the walls beside me but I kept walking. The doors seem to call out to me saying "open me Alex!" Or "you know you want to Alex". The echo of my footsteps filled up the room as my fear of what came closer raised. I finally reached it. A door reached up to the celling, it seemed to come out of no where. I knew I had no other choice and slowly opened the door. As soon as I looked inside my vision clouded slowly turning to complete darkness. I screamed at the top of my lunging as pain followed. I backed into the wall sliding down to my knees. Eventually it all ceased. I jolted awake. I almost screamed until I realized that I was at my local gym sitting inside the empty locker room. I tired to pretend that nothing happened and grabbed my stuff. I almost ran to my car just so I wouldn't have to talk to anyone. I throw my stuff into the back seat of my car and try and calm down. I realize tears are streaming down my face. I whisper to myself "I must've looked like a crazy person".  I sigh thinking about how insane I must've looked. At least the gym seemed empty except for the few people. I glance down at my watch and see that it's already 10. "Ugh I can't believe its this late already!" I turn on my car and start to drive home. I couldn't stop thinking about my "episode". I thought they stopped when I was young but I guess not. As a child I was given a cocktail of drugs to make me feel "better". Tears stream done my face as I think about my nonexistent childhood and the years I spent surrounded by doctors telling me this or that. I wipe the tears with the back of my hand as I pull into my driveway. I grab my stuff and rush into my apartment. As I open the door I notice that my roommate hasn't gotten home yet. I only know that because you can tell she hasn't made her microwave dinner. The artificial smell of the tin dinner usually stays in the apartment way after it was made. I always find it weird when I come home before her. My roommate is almost always at work. Everyone once in a while she will go to some college party. But that's the only time she's ever out of her room. We have lived together for about a year or two but we never really talk. At most we yell across the apartment. I walk up to my room door which is right across from hers. I notice that it is slightly open and timidly look in. The door creaks as I peak in. I see her long black hair sprawled across the floor, her body distorted it every direction, and blood soaked though her clothes and into the floor. I scream.
