Chapter 1💙Morning dance attack

I'm snuggled up in my fluffy cloud called a bed. When suddenly I'm attacked by light.

"Wake up Sunset! "my best friend screams, while she jumps on my bed. " Go away evil beast " I mumbled back at her, yet she still jumped on like a high bunny. " Flutter Shy! Let me Fucking sleep! " I shouted into my pillow.

If you didn't already guess I hate being woken up in the morning. At least she stopped, I was about to get back to dreamland when the blaring sound of SWALLA came on.

I smiled and jumped out of my bed to join my bestie in dancing to the song. Which she was, so here we are two weirdos dancing to the music from an old phone at 07:30 am in the morning.

Let me start on how we got here. Don't worry I'll try to make it short.

" Look Lumina, when your plane lands in California your uncle will be there for you guys " he sighs. " Of course you would ship me off to your brother, just cause your 'wife's doesn't approve of me, your child " I said glaring at him.

" You know that's not it " he said through gritted teeth. " I'm sure it's not Mr Smith, cause that would be so wrong " Erinn said trying to keep the sarcasm from her words.

I grabbed my best friend's hand and we boarded the plane. We took our seats by the window. " Hey, Sunset Shimmer you OK there?", I just looked at her.

That's my best friend for you, Erinn Mouton. We grew up together , met when she was three and I was four, my mom used to say that I stole her 'My Little Pony ' movies and ran around the house calling her ' Flutter Shy' . To which she would call me ' Sunset Shimmer' due to my mischievousness. So that's how we got stuck at the hip ever since.

" Yeah, just can't believe we're leaving Mexico, to go to some white preppy High School " I replied. "Al menos va a haber algún dulce para los ojos " she said with a wink. ( At least there's going to be some eye candy). I cracked a all smile.

7 Hours later we're out the airport waiting for my uncle. " This is the proper English side of your family right? " she asked and raised a eyebrow. " They know little to non of Spanish" I smirked. Before she answered a slick black SUV pulled up in front of us. " Damn you sure that's your uncle? I mean damn he look so young " , I slapped the back of her head. " Behave he's in his late thirties " I snapped.

"Phoenix get yo' fat ass in this car! I haven't seen you since you met gummy bear next to you!" he said excitedly when we got in the car. " See you still kept our nicknames Uncle Max " sarcasm dripping for Erinn's words.

" Can't help that you were a fat baby and kid " he said he's blue eyes sparkled with amusement. I busted out in laughter in the back seat. " I was cute not fat " she pouted. " I think the correct words are pleasantly plump " I said. " Yeah...wait, what " my uncle and I bursted out in a round of laughter.

When we were calmer and on the road I reached over to turn the radio on but he slapped my hand away. " Owie " I rubbed my poor hand. " What are the rules " he asked waiting for our reply. " First teach one Spanish phrase before getting anything " Erinn and I said by heart.

I sigh , " A La mierda esto" I heard Erinn gasp in the front seat. " What, what did she say " he asked confusion taking over his face. " I simply said Fuck this " I smirked. He nodded happily, " Great Now I get to use it on that stuck up sister of mine...and her evil daughter too " I snorted at his words and reached to over to put the radio on.

' Youngblood' by 5SOS was on, we all looked at each other and my uncle started his role, which was the lead singer. Erinn was the drummer and I was the guitar player.

Luckily the song was at my favorite part, the beginning, but there was no need to tell my uncle that.

"REMEMBER THE WORDS YOU TOLD ME
LOVE ME TILL THE DAY I DIE "

he belted out loud and proud. " Uncle maybe don't shout " I said quickly. "Then you be the lead singer and I do back up " he throws back at me, I shrugged and took the lead.

"Surrender my everything 'cause you made me believe you're mine
Yeah, you used to call me baby, now you're calling me by name
Takes one to know one, yeah, you beat me at my own damn game"

I quickly got up on my knees ready to rock our ' show' .

I rocked my air guitar and whipped my head too.

" AND I'M JUST A DEAD MAN WALKING TONIGHT
BUT YOU NEED IT YEAH, YOU NEED IT ALL OF THE TIME, YEAH"

and then we jammed all the way till the car came to a stop and my uncle got out leaving us alone.

" What the fuck? Are we at the woods? " Erinn gasped. Knowing her horror movie scenes were flashing before her eyes. " Better make sure the nun don't get ya' " I whispered to her and got out quickly to join my uncle, Erinn not a second behind me. "Alright girls, it's not much but it's yours " he said moving up to look ahead.

Holy mother of mermaids!

" Pellizcarme creo que estoy soñanda" Erinn mumbled. (Pinch me I think I'm dreaming). So I punched her arm , "Ow the fuck Lum" she whined. I just shrugged and turned to Uncle, " This... This is ours? " I stuttered out. " It's your Lumina, your mother left it in your name. The people that will help paint and things will be here tomorrow, after you guys come home from school. Enjoy, oh and I'm picking you up at 07:50 tomorrow morning. Wear anything " he said handing me the keys and left.

Oh fuck I almost forgot, I'm Lumina Phoenix Llama and this is the journey to Her Smile.

I actually sounded like one of those people one TV shows didn't I ?
