I can't help but realise the high crime rates of our small town, our small community. About an hour or two away from London a small village named 'BrinkWood' sits, separated from the world. Our community has its own rules, way of life and people. Being separate never really bothered us inhabitants of BrinkWood. We just keep to ourselves. Due to the distance from the rest of the world crimes are much easier to get away with. 17 murders in the period of 3 months, 3 months. 4 missing persons cases and far too many break ins. These 'crime lords' are still yet to be identified, which worries our small town due to us not being used to such horror, trauma, our peace being terribly disturbed. Who in the right mind would do something? No one. You must have something triggered or wrong with you to do, do that. Ugh, never mind. I'll get too deep into this. In BrinkWood there's two schools, one primary and one secondary. Our current population is 430 people. It seems like many people but everybody kinda knows each other...or do they? Hahaha. Back onto the subject of school I'm 14, a year nine. Also I'm afraid I forgot to mention my name. Tyler, Tyler Raven. Yes the animal Raven. I have three siblings, three older brothers and both my parents. The eldest brother is Ethan he's 24. He's technically my half brother because he's my mothers child not my fathers, Ethan's a really outgoing and fit person. He enjoys exercise, enjoys it. He's always got girls and guys chasing him though. James the second eldest is 22, he's the best brother (don't tell the others). He's really funny and is always out and about. He cares about me a lot and always wonders about how I'm going, sometimes we even sneak out or he'll just take me out with him and his friends. He's rather cheeky aswell and mums surprised he got through high school with 'okay' grades. Mike is 17, he's more serious of the three of them, he's got his whole life sorted and is going to uni after he's finished year 12, we're three terms into our last year so he's pretty excited to get life started. Kyle and Mike are both slightly tanned. Kyle has dark brown hair but Mike has light brown. Kyle basically only wears athletic clothing and footy jerseys. Mike dresses 'smartly' so James calls him a "smart arse."
James on the other hand is more pale like me, we both have freckles dotted around our noses and cheeks. James has mixed shades of brown hair and wears 'street' wear, I personally thinks he looks pretty cool. My mum and dad go travelling a lot for work, and I don't want to brag but they're insanely good surgeons. Due to their jobs we have plenty of money for our rather large family. I haven't seen my mum and dad for 8 months. They left a bit before Christmas so I just spent Christmas with those crazy boys. We've lived in BrinkWood our entire lives. BrinkWood only just started becoming 'messy' this year. Oh, I forgot to describe my own appearance, silly me. I have light brown hair with dark brown streaks in it and I usually just wear 'safe clothing'. Jeans, big shirts and hoodies. A lot of boots and sneakers. Our house is super big aswell. It's white and plastered. We have 7 bedrooms (all of them have there own bathrooms), 2 offices, a big kitchen, an even bigger lounge room (2 of those), a rather grand dining area, a coffee nook, 2 family bathrooms, a basement, an awesome garden with a pool. That's pretty much it. It's a lot but we love our house a lot.
