Happenstance

    "Oh, excuse me," he said moving around me and walking into the hospital.

"Katrina," a nurse said from behind me. "Please, just come back inside sweetie, you were in a coma for two months, you shouldn't be out here. You need to stop trying to escape." I sighed as she led me back inside.

"You never told me what happened to the other driver," I said as she passed the button to my floor.

"He's fine, he gets to leave tomorrow. " The elevator doors opened, and my doctor was standing there.

"Katrina, what are you doing out of bed? Go back and lay down," he said leading me to my room.

"Doctor Shepherd! The blood result came back!" one of the nurses said running up to him as he hooked me back up to the machines.

"Let me see them," he read the clipboard and froze. "But how's that possibl-... Katrina, don't try to break out again," he stood up and ran out of the room quickly.

"What was that about?" I asked the nurse.

"You'll find out soon enough dear, but for now get some rest," she said walking out of the room.

"Yeah rest," I laughed.
