I awoke the next morning happy but still tired. I noticed a body laying next to me. I look at it with a confused expression. Is that....
" AKIO??!! WHAT ARE YOU DOING IN MY ROOM? "
Akio was startled and fell off the bed.
" I'M SORRY, KOWA! I WAS TIRED, SO I FOLLOWED YOU TO YOUR ROOM, AND SINCE I JUST GOT HERE YESTERDAY, I WASN'T ASSIGNED A ROOM YET. " He explained. I wasn't mad, just surprised.
" It's fine. " I murmured. " But did you just call me Kowa? "
" Yes I did! " Akio said smiling. I smiled back.
" So what will we do today? " Akiosaid bouncing on the bed. "
I hesitated thinking about what I do every day, and what I wanna do.
" Well....We get to have one hour to leave the asylum, but we must come straight back. My nurse, Nora, has to come too. Is there anything you want to do? " I asked.
" Um.....I have an idea. " Akio said smiling and got up. " But we have to eat now, or we'll be hungry. I read on the schedule poster that breakfast ends at 11:15. It is 11:00. We have fifteen minutes. " He laughed and rushed to his suitcase and took at a toothbrush and some clothes. I got out of bed, with Akio following me, to brush our teeth.

After we finished, I thought about what Akio had said. He say earlier that he had an idea of where we are going. As I was deep in thought, Akio tugged on my shirt and said,
" KOWASU!!!! WE GOTTA GO!!! ONLY 10 MORE MINUTES UNTIL BREAKFAST IS OVER!!! " He shouted. "Okay, my potato. I'm coming. "

At breakfast, I sat at my usual table. Akio sat next to me. I ordered waffles, and Akio ordered yogurt parfait. As we at, I noticed our free hour is approaching. Akio must have too, seeing as how he was inpatient. I laughed and smiled at Akio.
" Oh yeah. I don't have a nickname for you. " Akio said.
" Well, why do I need another one? "
" Another? What do you mean? "
" Earlier this morning, you called me Kowa. "
" I did didn't I? Haha. I must have forgot. " Akio laughed and his face flushed with embarrassment.
" I mean.....I do want another one...."
Akio face light up. " Okay! I have one! Or......3? No....more like 20. "
" How about only your fave 3. That would make it cute. UwU " I laughed realizing I said ' UwU ' out loud. Haha. Ooowuuuooowuuu? Is that how I said it?
Akio giggled and smiled.

Finally, 30 mins later, it was our free hour. I put on a black hoodie and black sweatpants.

I wore my cute neko hoodie, and smiled at my reflection in the mirror.
Can't wait for Kowasu to see it! It really is breathtaking. It's even a river behind a clearing in the park.
Eeeek!!! I'm too excited. I'm gonna go see if Kowasu is ready.

Akio walked into my room, and held my hand.
" Let's go, Kowa! " Akio said cutely.
We left the asylum, and walked.
Akio asked about my family, or what's left anyway. And he asked if I had a love interest. Little did he know, it was him. " N-Not yet. " I said. " Oh. " Akio said glumly.
" THERE'S THE PARK!!! LET'S GO!!! " Akio ran off and sat by a cherry blossom tree. " It's beautiful. " I said, looking around, taking in the beauty.
" I know right? So pretty! " He smiled and pulled me towards a river.
It's so cute!!!! I walked up to it and threw a rock into it. It splashed and I smiled.
" Isn't it cute? " Akio said smiling.
" Yes. It is. " I smiled back.
He splashed some water on me. So I did the same.

We laughed and played for like, 5 minutes, but I'm not sure. We stopped.
" Kowasu, I have something to tell you. " Akio said seriously.
" Yes? " I asked, acting clueless.
" I like you. I know it may be to soon, but I do. " He blushed looking down shyly.
I smiled at his cuteness. He hugged me and of course I hugged back. We look into each other eyes. I saw innocence and sparkles. He probably seen pain and deression.
And then......We kissed.......
