The Robot Trains' Adventures of Madagascar

It was a busy day in Train World. The Robot Trains were about to step foot beyond the reaches of their homeworld into a new dimension for the first time. Kay, the leader of the Robot Trains, could barely contain his excitement. "I can't wait for this to happen." He said to his friends. "Just imagine, in just a few moments, we'll be able to step foot into dimensions we have yet to behold." said Jeffrey. The other Robot Trains, Duke, Alf, Victor, Selly and Duck were also very excited. They had never been able to do something like this in a long time but now they were ready.  Alf then spoke up. "Alright, everyone," he said to the other trains that were present. "My friends and I will now begin our journey to another dimension. When we return, we'll be able to make dimensional travel available to anyone." All the trains that gathered in the square cheered wildly. The trains lined up one by one behind each other and coupled up. First Kay, then Alf, then Selly, then Duck, then Victor, then Duke, then Jeffrey. Then the Fountain Plaza begin to glow brightly with energy and bright blue electricity pulsed rapidly underneath the trains' wheels as they stood at the new Portal Tunnel entrance, ready to begin their journey. "Go!" Kay shouted to the others and they charged full speed ahead towards the waiting entrance. The two big doors that shut off the tunnel opened and at last, the trains were on their way. Inside the tunnel, the seven friends cheered and whooped as they raced along the newly constructed tracks. "We did it, guys! The adventure begins!" Kay cheered. "I know! I can't believe we actually managed to pull this off!" Selly said. Eventually, the trains reached the end of the tunnel and found themselves smack down in the middle of the NYC Zoo. The seven friends gazed around at their surroundings. "Whoa. Where are we?" Alf asked. "I do believe we are in New York City in the USA." Victor said still looking around. Kay's jaw gaped open. He had never been to a place like New York before. Just then, the sounds a manly scream caught his attention. "Someone's in trouble! Come on!" He said to his friends, running in the direction of the scream. Kay lead his friends to the zebra pen and pressed his back against the wall. "Okay, on my count of three. One... two... three!" Kay shouted. But to the trains' surprise, they saw a zebra and a lion talking to each other. And what was even more surprising was the lion was standing on just two legs! "Alex! Do not interrupt me when I'm daydreaming! When the zebra's in the zone, leave him alone!" The zebra said to the lion, who's name was Alex. "Come on Marty, I just wanted to wish you a happy birthday." Alex said to the zebra, who's name was Marty. "Hey, thanks!" Marty replied. That was when Kay spoke up. "Uh, excuse me?" He called to the two animals. "We heard you friend screaming just now and thought he was in trouble." The two animals jumped when they saw him. "Oh, hey there. I'm Marty. This is Alex." Marty said introducing himself and his friend to the trains. The trains jumped over the fence into the pen to join them. "I'm Kay. This is Alf, Selly, Duck, Victor, Jeffrey and Duke." Kay said introducing himself and his friends to the animals. Just then, Alex started groaning in pain. "It's good to meet you but I've got something stuck in my teeth. It's driving me crazy. Marty, can you help me out here? Please?" He asked his friend. "You came to the right place, my friend. Doctor Marty D.D.S. is in the house! Please hop on top of my sterilized examination table, if you may." Marty replied and Alex did. Marty reached right into Alex's mouth. "I don't see anything." He said as he fidgeted around inside his friend's mouth. "It's on the left." Alex said muffled. "Ah!" Marty groaned as he felt Alex's upper jaw moving. "Oh, sorry." Alex apologized. "Okay, just don't talk with your mouth full. Ah-ha! Right here!" Marty replied and he pulled out a snow globe from inside Alex's mouth. "What the heck was this doing in there?!" He asked, quite surprised. "Happy birthday!" Alex said. "Aww. Hey, thanks man! It was behind the tooth! You're all right." Marty said. "These aren't on the shelf yet. Here, check it out. Look at that. Ooh.. look at that." Alex said as Marty looked at the tiny model of him inside it. "Look at that, it's snowing." Marty said. "Beautiful." Selly said as she gazed at the tiny bits of paper made to look like snow. "Ten years old, huh? A decade! Double digits. A big 1-O." Alex replied. Just then, everyone noticed Marty's sad expression. "You don't like it?" Kay asked. "No, no, it's great." Marty replied. "You hate it! I should've gotten you the Alex alarm clock! That's the one, that's the big seller!" Alex grumbled. "No, no. The present is great, really. It's just that another year's come and gone and I'm still doing the same old thing. Stand over here, trot over there. Eat some grass. Walk back over here." Marty said. "I see your problem." Alex replied. "Maybe I should go to law school." Marty said. "You just need to break out of that boring routine." Alex said. "How?" Marty asked. "Throw out the old that, get out there, who knows what you're gonna do! Make it up as you go along! Add limb, improvise, on the fire, boom, boom, boom!" Alex said. "Really?" Marty asked. "You know, make it fresh!" Alex said. "Fresh? Okay, I can do fresh." Marty replied. "Works for me." said Alex. Just then, the sound of a ringing bell could be heard throughout the zoo. "Here come the people, Marty. Oh, I love the people! It's fun people fun time!" Alex exclaimed as he flipped across pens to wake his two other friends, Gloria the hippo and Melman the giraffe. The trains all looked at each other in excitement. "We can pretend to be guidance robots." Kay said. "Everyone spread out." And with that, all the trains went to separate parts of the zoo whilst Kay stayed where he was so that he could welcome the kids so that they could meet Marty. "Let's go, Gloria! Up and at em! We're open!" Alex said, waking up Gloria. "What day is it?" asked Gloria. "It's Friday! Field trip day!" Alex said, before flipping off to wake up Melman. "Yes, it's field trip day, let's get up and go. In ten more minuets." Gloria said. Alex landed on top of Melman's place. "Come on! Melman, Melman, Melman! Melman, Melman, Melman! Wake up! Rise and shine! It's another bad news morning in the big apple! Let's go!" Alex said. Melman came out wearing a dental cone on his neck. "Not for me! I'm calling in sick!" Melman said. "What?" Alex asked. "I found a brown... another brown spot on my shoulder! Right here! You see? Right there. Right there. You see?!" Melman asked. "Melman, you know it's all in your head." Alex said. Children and parents began to rapidly enter the zoo. Selly was there to greet them. "Hello and welcome to Central Park Zoo. All the animals here are just delighted to be meeting you." She said. "Thank you, Selly. Your time here gives you plenty of opportunities to learn about the animals and which countries or continents they are from. Can someone tell me where Alex came from?" Alf asked the kids. "Africa!" A young girl answered. "Correct!" Replied Alf. Just then, a manly voice of the P.A. announced, "Ladies and gentleman, children of all ages, the Central Park Zoo proudly presents, the King of New York City, Alex the Lion!" Alf and Selly knew that was their cue. "And now we proudly present you, the citizens of New York, your king, the King of Beasts, the Pride Rider, The Clawed Casanova," Alf began. "Alex the lion!" Selly and Alf shouted together whilst gesturing towards Alex, who posed for the big audience that was in front of him. "ROAR!!!" Alex let a great roar as fireworks exploded around him. The crowd went absolutely wild. Over near Marty's pen, Kay brought in a huge crowd. "Gather round everyone, the big show is about to start. Check out Marty taking care of business. That's right." Kay said. Marty grabbed some water in his mouth then spat it out once, then twice, then twice once more and then spat at three men, who looked disgust. The children cheered. "Yes, a big star isn't he?" Kay said. "Come on! Give Alex a big hand! Isn't he great?" Alf asked the crowd as the crowd watched Alex down some hand gestures. Duck was showing Gloria to some children. Gloria was doing some swim stunts and posed for camera pictures whilst Melman was being photographed whilst being treated. At the penguin enclosure, Victor was telling some kids about penguins. "Now penguins are natural beings that like to swim in arctic waters." Victor said. The kids gasped in awe. Behind Victor, three penguins, Rico, Skipper and Private were waving to the audience. "Just smile and wave, boys. Smile and wave." Skipper told Rico and Private. He then turned to a bowl of fish. "Kowalski, progress report." He called to his lieutenant. Kowalski popped his head out. "We're only five hundred feet from the main sewer line." He said.
