I've lived my life hearing my parent's stories about color, and all of its beauty, about how they met, and how beautiful it was, when they finally saw what many people lacked to see, the cutest thing they say, is when one of them is out of town and they come back, and to hear my mom whisper into my dad's ear.. "Colors are so much brighter when you're around"..
some people never met their soulmate, so they never had a chance to see colors, or some people met their soulmates as young as birth, me? I haven't really met anyone that even interests me, I make great friends yeah, but.. I just haven't met that person yet.
"Hey! Alex!" I heard from behind me..
"Oh hey Lina" I turned around, as I greeted her.
Lina put her arm around me, me being the short kid of the class, I've gotten used to being picked up, picked on, and used as an arm rest, I'm used to this by now
"Sooo I think I met someone" Lina whispered.
I jumped away from her smiling.
"WAIT WHAT?!, WHO?!" I was definitely excited for her "Hold up.." I get closer whispering into her ear. "Do you see color?"
She jumped up, very excited, she nodded to me.
"Alex you have no idea.. how beautiful everything is, you are so cute with colors" Lina is so sweet to me.
I smiled and looked down feeling my face burning up.
Lina gasped. "OH MY GOSH IS THAT WHAT BLUSHING LOOKS LIKE?! YOU LOOK SO CUTE! HOLY CRAP!"
I started laughing, She's so dorky and adorable.. whoever she met, they are really lucky..
"Alright Lina.. let's just please get to school" I smiled and pulled her around making sure she didn't bump into anything while looking at the colors.
I will admit,I'm kinda jealous..
