Chapter 7

Because of my ruined and wet robe, I decided to cut my adventure short and go back to our manor.

We went back to the secluded alley way where our manor's back wall is located. This is also the place where we sneak out to go outside early today. This place is the remote part of our manor so there are few people who comes here, only the guards when they patrol the area. That's why this is the most suitable place to sneak in and out of our manor.

Loulu get ready as she bend her waist and knee near the wall. She put her hands between her chest and thighs for support. I, on the other hand held my robe up high so that it will not hinder me to climb up in Loulu's back. I use Loulu as my step to climb on top of the wall. As I am on the top of the wall I dangle my feet on the otherside and jump at the ground. Then like there is nothing happened I walk onto the path of where my courtyard is.

Meanwhile at the other side of the wall, Loulu after she confirms that I land safely she scurry to leave and went to the other side where a little door is located. This door is used by all servants to enter and leave when they need or order to go outside. All the while she didn't notice a young male servant observing them at the far side of the alley ..

At my own courtyard, I successfully sneak in my room and got to change my wet clothes.

After a while Loulu also comes back and serve the foods we order at the restaurant.

That waiter is efficient. When he observed the situation, he quickly fix our order to go and give it to Loulu.

The gift that I gave to him is not a waste at all.

When the food is served, I noticed Loulu is getting a little bit fidgety. I ask her what's wrong.

She hesitated a little bit but she mustered her courage and said, "Young miss .. this servant,..  this servant think that what you did in the lake is dangerous. Please young miss be careful next time. I cannot think what I will do if something terrible happens to you. Please young miss be more mindful of yourself." She bow at me, her back ramrod straight.

I got quiet and stared at her. Loulu doesn't flinch, she just bow at me and didn't move. I sigh and stand. I walk in front of her and help her to stand up.

I put my hands in both her shoulders and stared at her. I want to convey to her what I feel through my eyes and said to her in a serious tone.

"Loulu, I thank you for your concern for me. But if ever there is another incident like that again, I will and always will ..do my best to save someone who needs my help. I can't ignore something like that. So be prepared okay?" I smile at her and go back sit on my chair.

"Yes, young miss." Loulu just sigh in her heart. Her young miss is brave and kind, there's nothing she can do. She will just look out for her miss and be alert always to help her. Haaaaa ..she is lucky to have a kind miss like her young miss but sometimes, ..  ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I readily devour the food as I am starving adding the fact that I am tired because of the incident in the lake, I turn on my bed early and sleep like a log.

The night is nigh. The moon is at its highest. Cool summer breeze lingering,  creating a soothing effect after a day of humid. People are asleep, resting their tired body for another day's of hard work. Few patrol guards watching. There is calmness in the surroundings.

In the room of a certain someone, there is unrest. Sleeping at her soft bed, frowning. Dreaming of the past ..

I just finished my last surgery for this week a little early and I plan on going home to surprise my husband and of course my son. During this period, I have a lot of scheduled surgeries that I say I neglected my family but I just can't ignore people who is suffering and needs help so I'm doing my best to balance my work and my time to my family. So after this last surgery, my aim now is to spend a week for my family to compensate.
