Letter From the Abyss

To whom it may concern,

I guess that means all of you.

The ones who've been with me from my

first steps

first words

first, everything.

I address you first as you are most

Important, I guess. According to rules and laws,

Raising someone like me, full of flaws.

Maybe that makes you important

But whether or not, I thank you first

For being with me

Teaching me right from wrong

And caring for me for so long.

The ones who've been with me from my

Childhood

Boyhood

Manhood

I should

Probably thank you next, in fact I will.

The only ones i never thought I'd kill.

that made you important,

For a time, to me.

The ones I never thought would've turned

On me, myself, I was alone.

But thank you all for being there anyway

A presence is nothing without a face to go with it

So masks are worn everyday. Hope you're cool with it.

And to all the rest who've waited in

The background, watching

Tempting, bitching,

Ruining everything holding my life together.

This is for you, thanking you

For not caring

For every scream, lie

Wicked gossip, 'cause everything you

Threw at me, helped me to

Grow and mature.

Bet you thought your childish begging

Would stop my knife from stabbing,

Jabbing, mutilating

The life you once had.

Standing over your pathetic corpses

Covered in blood, my shirt red and stained.

Bet you didn't think my knife

Would end my life

Following you to your grave to torment you again.

So I'm sending this letter,

Return address

the Abyss.

Rotting away in a pit

Breathless, lifeless, heartless

Cold.

Writing, thinking, tapping

Old.

So remember your treatment of me when you

Read this letter and feel my pain too.

Carry on with your lives and pathetic existence.

Forget about me and do your ignorance.

I hear hell-hounds coming,

So it's eternal slumber for me

So party ahead and howl at the moon.

I'm gone for now.

P.S. see you soon
