Book 13: Familiar Encounter

Xander: Okay, Benjiro. Time to fess up. Just who exactly is this girl?

Benjiro: I'll explain...but it's quite a long story.

Lily: Well, we will be in here for some time.

Benjiro: ...okay. Hotaru is indeed my sister. But we aren't really related.

Nanao: Sooo...she's adopted?

Benjiro: Yes, this all happened, when is was still very young...and afraid of the world.

As Benjiro began explaining the story, the story started with Akechi and Tengge, when they were still members of the Phantom Thieves. They were outside of their ship, while the inhabitants were constantly thanking the Phantoms for their services and work in eliminating the creatures from their home.

Yamabuki: So, did you enjoy yourselves, last night?

Akechi: Whatever do you mean?

Akari: There's no point in trying to play dumb. We saw everything.

Akechi and Tengge couldn't contain themselves and they blushed, madly.

Yamabuki: I never knew you were such a love machine, Akechi-kun.

Akechi: Please, stop...I can't take much more...

Tengge: You didn't see everything, did you?

Yamabuki: Sadly, no. Akari pulled me away, before things got good.

Akechi and Tengge couldn't look at each other, after hearing that. Just then, the rest of the crew walked back.

Ren: Alright, is everyone ready?

Skull: Hell yeah, let's get going!

The group walked inside of the ship, ready to leave. Once inside, the ship slowly began to ascend from the ground and into the air. Before the inhabitants knew it, the ship took off, into the sky.

Enju: Oracle, what is the next planet?

Futaba: Hm, let me see...oh, we've got one here.

Ren: Where is it?

Futaba: It's this planet. Where we saw those bikini warriors?

Cypress: I've heard of that planet. It's the one where the Warlord actually turned to the side of good.

Ren: I heard that too. What's the problem with it?

Futaba: No telling, just says that it's urgent and we need to come right away.

Ren: Well, looks like we've got another mission then. Oracle, you know what to do.

Futaba: Aye-aye, leader!

Full throttle, Futaba sent the ship into hyperdrive, as it sped through deep space. In no time, they arrived at the destination. From the ship, they could see a grassy planet.

Neku: For a planet that's full of war, it doesn't seem like much is happening.

Myu: Do you think we were too late?

Enju: I don't think so. Oracle...

Futaba: On it!

Controlling the ship, Futaba flew right into the planet. When they landed, Neku was right. The plains were completely peaceful. The tall grass was flowing in the wind. Not a single body or monster in sight.

Skull: Where is everybody?

Ricka: No monsters. Or warriors. All quiet.

John: Joker?
