Hello this is to be 5-6 shots. Hope you enjoy, updates to other stories will be made.
Having been raised by a single mother (not that my father had passed on) I spent most of my early years of school a very obedient girl always very attentive to the advise of my mother and siblings.
I used to spend most of my time in books, not wanting any kond of destruction to the future.
At an early age our mother had been frustrated by how her life had turned out. She never thought the man she loved and sacrificed for would walk out on her leaving her with 3 children.
im the end she had to work extra hard, multiple jobs to put me and my siblings through school.
Tanu was waiting to join university , Anav was joining college while I was left with a year to join college.Maa had struggled to raise us, she had to forego the good things she wanted inorder we have good education, good medical care and a decent place for us for shelter.
She sometimes would be frustrated, tired and this would be transferred to us, she wasn't a bad mother but life had been hard on her not knowing how to deal with it so we ended up bearing the outburst.
We took it upon ourselves to make her proud in all ways to make her proud and maybe give her a better life with less stress.
We were all doing good in school, good reputation we had. She trusted us and we would do anything never to break that trust. The different challenges we encountered helped us build a good bond.
Arnav was like the head of the family very protective of us all. He had take it upon himself to do a side job to help maa with some of the bills at home. He alway provided from the little he had, he mostly made sure that i had all i needed even when I sometimes rejected. He pampered Tanu too & once in awhile took maa to dinner just to give her a meal out of home. We too sometimes would do some things for him though we couldn't equal to what he did for us.
Time later.
Tanu had finished school, Arnav was finalising and I was a university myself. Tanu was an engineer in a reputable organisation, Arnav had wanted to follow in the footsteps of Tanu though not successful he went on to become an architect.
I was doing human resource in a well reputable university and it was going on well. While pursuing my career I had to do internship as part of academic carrier.
Application letters were dropped in various companies but only one got back to me. It was The Mehra Foundation, one of the most reputable company.
The foundation was made up of many different companies within which included hospitals, hotels, schools, media companies both radio and TV.I did my interview and a week later got my acceptance letter to do my training at the head offices, the base of all the different sections. It was going to be an honor working with them and thus would build my CV in the future.
They had over 20.000 people, this meant opening wider doors for me, I was over joyed at the opportunity. It was supposed to be a 2 months internship and I decide to make the most out of it.
When the holidays started I had no time to dilly dally around rather I immediately started my training. The first week people were nice to me as I was the only young person in the department. They either referred me as their daughter or young sister and this didn't make me miss home but made the workplace a comfortable place for me.
My supervisor taught me as much as she could and I have the opportunity to do many things not taught at school, sometimes we moved to the different offices as they were in many different locations all over.
