The New Fall Maiden Arrives

(A/N Okay so i wrote the last chapter when i had 9.8k reads and now i have 10.7k reads... how? Who's kitten did i get out a tree in a past life to deserve this!?)

After i had returned to my hospital room i had been too late since they already knew that i had "escaped", i made sure that Jonathan was in no way connected to it 'cause c'mon! I wouldn't do that to him of all people.

So now instead of being in a general hospital i'm in my revamped dorm room, it's just a smaller room but more cosy. Since students from all around Remnant are coming here i had to give up my room.

I still had all the medical equipment from the hospital in here but the only difference is instead of a nice burly dude named Jonathan in my room i have a grumpy blonde chick named Glynda lecturing me.

There was a knock at the door as Glynda got up and stormed over to it. She straightened herself up and opened it revealing Ozpin with a box in his hand with wrapping paper around it.

Me: Ozpin, To what do i owe this pleasure? Are you replacing grouchy pants here with Jonathan?

Summer: Is it really best to antagonize her?

Ozpin: No Mr Branwen, for the time being you are still under Ms Goodwitch's care. But i thought i'd bring you a present

Me: As much as i appreciate it my birthday isn't for another day

He walked over and handed me the box. I looked at him curiously and spent a good 30 seconds trying to open it with one arm. When i did i saw a new cane.

Ozpin: I need you to come with me, i have someone i want you to meet.

Nodding i brought out the cane and climbed out of bed. Stumbling along the hallways i stayed silent as did Ozpin and Glynda.

Who am i meeting? And why all the secrecy? Reaching his office Ozpin opened the doors and all eyes turned to us. I saw General Ironwood, a girl who looked like a Schnee and... Uncle Qrow.

I doubt he recognises me... actually he's never even seen me so i'm sure unless he's told who i am he's gonna either ignore me or ask for me to leave.

Summer: It's been awhile since i've seen him...

Qrow: So Ozpin why'd you call of us here? And this kid, is he dying and we're who he wanted to see?

Me: Please even if i was dying there are more exciting people to meet instead of a drunk old man...

Qrow: Ohh Kid's got some lip on him

Me: I ain't a kid, i'm as tall as you!

Ozpin: Enough gentleman

He walked past me and over to his desk where he took a seat.

Qrow: Must be pretty hard being lopsided...

Me: I wonder if drunks see the world blurry...

Ozpin: I am curious about what instigated the fight in my courtyard

Qrow: She did it

Ironwood: Schnee is this true?

Schnee: I... yes sir

Ironwood: Hmph

Ozpin: Now what i'm about to tell you is need to know only so could Ms Schnee and Ms Goodwitch leave the room

They walked out as Ironwood and Qrow looked at me curiously but i'm curious about what the info is

Qrow: What about the kid?

Ironwood: Yes, i am also curious why he stays

Ozpin: Would you mind telling them?

Me: Well, i'm destined to protect the maidens, i'm a silver eyed warrior, i'm the "Hero of Vale" or whatever the medias calling me and i'm Qrow's Nephew
