Thank you so much for the love you showered on the teaser!

This one is a bit weirdly structured, I hope it's not too complicated.

Here you go, hope you'll like it!

„Avni...", she heard his voice, so close, raspy and quiet. She felt his warmth behind her, even though they were both drenched from the rain she felt as if her body was burning up from the inside suddenly, but at the same time she could feel chills run down her spine.

Her heartbeats were rattling as she felt him move even closer to her, the water droplets making its way from her hair tips down to her  shoulder didn't cool her down at all. The atmosphere in the room was tense, as if one could cut it with a knife.

Then she felt his fingertips on her waist and her breath stuttered. His thumb brushed some droplets away. Those weren't accidental touches now. They were more than deliberate. She almost stopped breathing as his other hand moved to gather the wet hair to one side of her neck and pulled her closer so that her back was pressed against his chest. She felt his racing heartbeat and finally let herself breathe out again, assured that this was affecting him, too.

Author's POV:

She had proposed him first in her own and only way she knew how to... she disclosed her every insecurity in front of him, about how she's not his first love and how she's not the ideal woman in general, she's broken – even beyond repair – but she's willing to try. She asked him if he would consider her his wife and build a family with her like she always wished to have and be part of.

When he knelt down in front of her as well, she got confused as he hadn't said anything. And she had every right to be ...

His eyes were full of sorrow and she could not pinpoint what was bothering him. The only thing she knew and felt was that something was killing him from within. When he finally told her the truth about him being the potential father of a little girl, she couldn't help but feel that she was going to lose him, but he was quick to explain her how he's going to check first if what Juhi is saying is valid.

He had expected her to leave him just like that, but no. Despite everything, she did the least expected... she had – selflessly – proclaimed to be by his side, no matter what and that's when he was not able to hold back anymore. He had cupped her face, his eyes brimmed with tears, he finally professed his unconditional love for her. Sure, he had always shown how much he cared, but he had never said it out loud...

They were about to get back home when he got a call from the lab confirming that he was not the biological father of Mishti...

They had then gone to Ayesha's grave to take her blessings and before they were about to leave, it started to rain heavily, drenching them both completely within seconds. They quickly ran to the car and drove home.

The immense fear of losing her after he told her the truth was still gnawing on his heart, but at the same time now that she had again showed how deeply she cared for him, he somehow also felt a stronger connection to her. Moreover, the residing desire to claim his rights over her began to prevail on him.

Not to mention that the way the red translucent fabric of her saree was clinging onto her alabaster skin - particularly around her waist area - was evoking thoughts in his mind he had tried to ignore for quite a long time now.

First, he had scolded himself mentally for even having such thoughts. But sooner or later he couldn't deny how he was not just emotionally but also physically attracted to her - hell, who could blame him, she was absolutely beautiful...
