"Come on it'll be fun!" My best friend Chloe spoke excitedly while grinning ear to ear from the other side of my bed.

"Chlo you know I don't do parties and besides I've got to finish my art project" I sighed leaning back into my headboard.

"You've got all weekend to do that!" Chloe exclaimed while shuffling closer to me "Pleeeaseee" She whined poking her bottom lip out and looking up at me with puppy dog eyes.

I rolled my eyes at her "Fine but on one condition" I stated, she raised her eyebrows at me.

"I'm not drinking." Chloe begins to laugh at me.

"You say that now but the minute you step into that party your going to go straight to the bar" the blonde haired girl that for some unknown reason is my best friend giggled in front of me.

Sighing, I picked up my laptop and continued on with my essay "Whatever you say Chlo."

I was bored, I was extremely bored.

I tapped my pen against the desk while Mr Hudson (my maths teacher) rambled on about algebra and how x=y and all that bullshit. I've never been very good at maths, it just never really made sense to me. So here I was in a classroom with approximately 7 other people in the lowest set there is.

Today was Friday which also meant that it was the day of the party, it seemed like the whole school was going! Every corner I turned there was either a bunch of girls deciding what they were gonna wear or a group of guys planning on what girl they wanted to smash.

Disgusting if u ask me. I was planning on making the night go as quick and easy as possible. Probably wearing my trusty ripped jeans and black tee and then all I'd have to do is keep an eye on Chloe to make sure she doesn't get too wasted.

"Miss Greenfell it's looks like to me u haven't done any work this whole lesson" I look up to see Mr Hudson looking down at me in disappointment.

Is it the end of lesson already, last time I checked it had just started.

"Umm sorry sir I haven't been feeling well" I racked my brain for a better lie but that was all I could come up with, he cocked his eyebrow at me in amusement and I mentally rolled my eyes.

"I'm afraid that's a lunchtime detention on Monday" He spoke while walking away, I sighed falling back in my seat.

As soon as the bell rang I grabbed my bag and rushed out of there heading straight towards the cafeteria, damn I was hungry.

Whilst I was about to join the que for food I heard someone whistle from behind me making me whip my head around "Looking good there Greenfell" Shouted Jack with a wink, Jack Kingston was one of the popular guys in fact he was guy who's party I would be attending tonight.

I rolled my eyes "Wish I could say the same for you Kingston" I flipped him off and got in the que for the food I most desperately needed.

Once I had my plate of food which was an unappetising hot dog and fries, I made my way over to the table me and my friends always sat at. Chloe, Ben and sometimes Nia. Me Ben and Chloe had all been best friends since kindergarten however Nia only joined the school last year, she's hardly ever in and she never bothers to meet us outside of school either. Sometimes I think she just uses us so she won't be completely alone in school.
