Love? No Such Thing.

"The day I truly met you was the day I looked into your eyes & realized you were the one."

"Awww... how romantic!" I said out loud while in a dead silent library. People looked at me giving me weird & annoyed looks. How emberassing! I tried to hide behind a book shelf. I continued reading;

"But, I knew that you didn't look at me with the same eyes I looked at you. I love you, but you don't love me. I'm going to call off the wedding and apologize to your family."      

"OH MY GOD! Really Jacob? She loves you too!" I practically yelled. Again I got the same looks but this time someone yelled out  "Go home already!"

Geez, this book is just sooo.. Romantic! I wish my life was a romantic novel. Disappointment.

I walked to the checkout section but on my walk there I apologized to the grumpy man that yelled at me & everyone else who got annoyed.

"Good book?" Said the gray haired little old lady. She chuckled a bit. I giggled "Yeah, amazing. I'm obsessed!" I confessed.

She laughed a bit "From what I heard you're at the wedding part."  

I was shocked. I couldn't see a little old lady reading that book. 

"You've read it?"  I said with a straight face.

"I Wrote It!" 

Didn't see that coming.. 

"Really? So you're- "

Her laugh interrupted me. "No! I wish I would've came up with it though!"

This lady was sure interesting.. 

"Ohh.." I giggled at first then realized how gullible I reallly am & continued with a crazy laugh. She starred at me creeped out. I coughed a bit. "So yeahh.. I'd like to check this book out."

Awkwardly she said "Yeah, no problem hun" She finished. "It's due by Friday of next week."

"Kay thanks" I walked outside & giggled a bit from my awkward actions. "Oh Gosh... Hea Jung! What's wrong with you?!" I laughed a bit. "Hmm... Should I continue to read or read at home?"I said truly wondering while walking & starring at the book. I looked up & saw the banks clock. 3:41, okay. OKAY?! Oh Shit! I forgot that I was supposed to meet my bestfriend Nolan at his Coffee Shop. I reached into my pocket for my phone. Nothing. Did I lose it?! No, I left it with my mom. Damnit! I can't even call him to apologize. He's still there though, He works morning to closing, but still, I felt like I ditched him. And besides, lately I've been having some feelings for him. But he only thought of me as his little sister. 

Anyways, the only thing left to do was run to the shop.

"Wait! Taxi!" I yelled. Shit, forgot my wallet. Horrible day! Horrible! 

I took off my heels & began to run. I ran two blocks then wondered what time it was. I looked up to see if there was a clock. Hmm.. come on, there has to be atleast one. "There it is!" I yelled. sure enough today has felt like a scavenger hunt. 

I couldn't see the numbers very well; 3:58? 3:73? What? 3:73? Impossible! 3:50 something. Yeah, I also forgot my glasses. 

"OUCH!" Before I knew it I was on the ground. "Watch where you're going!" A deep voice said. 

"Huh? what do you mean? you bumped into me! I'm the victim here!"

Ughh.. how rude! 

I had my hand on the back of my head, I looked up to see that douche of a man. Dark ear length hair, Big brown eyes, tan skin, big muscles. 

Oh gosh, he was cute.. But that's it! His personality was horrid! 

I got up & looked at where  I fell. Huh? What was that? Blood! A pool of blood from when I fell! I looked at my hand and it was soaked with blood. 

I looked at the guy scared, he also was scared. And before I knew it I was on the ground again. Everything went black and the last thing I heard was the guy yell; "Shit! Leo! Get the car!"
