Trixie walked into school the next week, not looking like herself. She didn't feel like herself, either. Her hair was up in the world's messiest top bun, her face was without a speck of makeup, and she had all black on. Trixie never wears black. Violet knew how to get into her head. After she was outed and kicked out of Violet's little group the girl made it her mission to make Trixie's life miserable. She couldn't stand the thought of being associated with Trixie.

As the pink haired girl walked down the hall people were staring at her, whispering to the person next to them and laughing. Rumors and gossip spread faster in that school than an STD from Pearl. She soon understood why people were staring, she looked up at her locker and saw that 'loser' and 'dyke' were written on sticky notes all over her locker. People sure like to use that word, huh? Trixie thought. She wasn't phased by this word anymore, it was who she was after all. She quickly grabbed her stuff from her locker and went to her study hall.
__________
Katya had to talk to Trixie about what happened the other day, she had to hug her and let her know that everything is okay. She walked past Mr. Matthews' classroom and saw Trixie at a desk, with her head laying on the desk. She looked miserable. Trixie noticed her standing at the door and raised her eyebrow.

Katya motioned for Trixie to follow her, and Trixie happily obliged, asking Mr. Matthews if she could be excused. Trixie looked like she was about to cry and ran towards Katya, wrapping her arms around the smaller girl. Katya didn't hesitate to return the hug, rubbing Trixie's back in the process as she cried into her shoulder. "I missed you so much. I am so sorry I've ignored you the past few days, I don't know why I-" Trixie rambled on, still sobbing into Katya's shoulder.

"Hey, it's fine. I understand, but you need to calm down before you go into that classroom. Okay?" Trixie nodded, sniffling quietly. They stood with Trixie's face in the crook of Katya's neck until Mr. Matthews told Trixie to go back inside of the classroom. Trixie hugged Katya tightly one last time before walking back into the class with a smile on her face. The first smile she had in her face since the encounter with Violet, and it definitely wasn't going to be the last one that day.
__________
Katya waited for Trixie at her locker at the end of the day. She hadn't seen her since her study hall and wanted to make sure she was okay. She smiled when she saw the giant blob of pink amongst the other students. Trixie saw Katya and a smile immediately grew on her face. She didn't know why, but Katya made her so happy.

"Hey, kukla. How was your day?" Katya said, smiling at the taller girl. Trixie just shrugged her shoulders, "It was a day, I guess." She put her stuff away in her locker and was about to shut the door until Violet came up behind her and shut the door into her face, breaking her glasses.

Katya was furious.

"HEY, SHITHEAD!" Katya yelled, getting Violet's attention. "What, whore?" Violet said, clearly bored. This only made Katya even more angry, who the fuck would do this to a sweet girl like Trixie?

"Are you going to fucking apologize?" Katya was fuming as Violet just laughed and turned around, leaving. "Oh you son of a b-"

"Just drop it, Katya. She isn't worth your time." She turned around and saw Trixie on the floor, picking up the pieces of her lenses from her smashed glasses. Katya's face immediately went from angry to worried, helping the girl off of the ground. "You're coming to my house, there is no way I'm leaving you by yourself after this happened.

Trixie nodded her head and looked up at her, her face bruised. Katya picked up the girl's backpack and slung it over her shoulder, taking her hand and leading her out of the place they call hell.
__________
The two girls laid on Katya's bed in silence, the TV being the only noise in the room. Katya's room looked almost exactly like Trixie had pictured it; dark and gothic. But, it was cute. Trixie had her head on the smaller girl's chest, fading in and out of consciousness due to lack of sleep and the amounts of crying. It was also due to the fact that Katya rubbing slow circles into her back.

"I am so sorry, Katya." Trixie mumbled, earning a confused look from the girl below her. "I'm sorry that you have to deal with my bullshit, you don't deserve this." Katya sat up, making Trixie fall off of her and onto the pillows. "Alright, you listen here, Trixie. You have been the best thing that happened to me since I moved to this shit-hole. You have been so nice to me since day one and I couldn't be more grateful. I want nothing more than for you to be happy, I would kill for you to always be happy. I love you, Trix. I really, really love you."

Trixie was shocked, she hasn't heard that word from someone in years. Her family just stopped caring about her when they found out she was a dyke. It was like she was invisible. She didn't know what to say, so she did something worth 1,000 words. She grabbed Katya's face and smashed her lips against hers, taking the girl by surprise. Katya's hands almost instantly went up into the other girl's hair, trying to pull her impossibly closer as their lips moved in sync.

The girls pulled away after what seemed like forever, trying to catch their breath and smiling.

"I love you so much, Kats."
