shouto had jolted awake. eyes wide open, hand in hair and heavily breathing. sweat was endlessly rolling down his forehead and back; he had another one of those nigtmares.

on the other hand, izuku was scared; this has been happening ever since the hosu incident. it's honestly been a pain; a repeated cycle of todoroki waking up at either 2:45 am or 4:00 am.

call him exaggerating but how would you feel if your partner is continously waking up, scared to absolute death?

izuku just held todoroki tight in his arms, repeatedly saying 'it's okay' and 'i'm here', few words that helped todoroki calm down.

what was better?

when todoroki combs his shaky fingers through the greens hair.

placing his chin on the others head, inhaling that familar strawberry scent; then running his hand through those locks that he'd grown to love.

soon enough, his breathing had turned back to normall, as well as his heartbeat.

"shouto."

todoroki looked at izuku.

izuku pecked his lips softly.

"i love you."

and that was when he knew,

he had completely fallen in love with this boy.
