I shut my book finishing my trigonometry homework. It's almost the end of December and there was already snow falling outside my window. It was a Friday night and what was I doing? Being a loner at home. I didn't really wanna talk to anyone here. I know I was being stubborn and it would probably help me to get over Liam, but I was never one to be sociable. I looked through my phone to see if I had any messages. I sighed, zero messages. Grace's texts have become fewer and fewer. She was so busy with school that she hardly had time to call me. She had told me all the fun people she met and I couldn't help from being jealous. It hurt I know we're still best friends but we were growing  apart and it killed me.

Tomorrow was our last class before Christmas break. And I was going home to visit; Gracie was gonna be there to. I flipped on the TV and flipped through the channels. My heart skipped One Direction was one talking about their upcoming tour that was starting after Christmas. They all looked hot as usual, but my eyes kept drifting back to Liam. I shut off the TV and just stared at the blank screen. Christmas break couldn't come soon enough.

I walked up the snow covered driveway. Christmas is my favorite holiday. The pretty lights on the tree, smell of home cooked food, and just the wonderful feeling of being with family. I opened the door and inhaled the wonderful aroma of warm cookies. My dad was watching TV wearing his dorky Christmas sweater. My mom was frantic getting things ready for tonight's Xmas dinner. Graces family was coming over too. She had fresh pumpkin bread put out and I started to drool. I went to cut myself a piece when my mom spoke.

"Don't even think about it missy." my mom said turning to face me. I fake pouted. "It's nice to have you home sweetie." I gave her a hug and pulled away when my phone beeped.

Grace: I'm in town meet me at the coffee shop? I have something important to tell you.

Me: Sure. can't wait to see you!XX <3

"I'm gonna go meet Grace. See you in a bit." I said giving my mom a kiss on the cheek. I quickly gave my dad a hug and ran out the door. I about slipped on the ice but caught myself. What can I say I was excited I was gonna see my best friend!

The shop was pretty vacant there was only 5 other people there. I grabbed a seat and ordered some hot chocolate. There was little stage at the front of the room and a guy stepped up on stage.

"We have a very special guest tonight that is going to sing. Enjoy!" He said walking off the stage.

I about died when I saw who was on stage. I spit my drink out. Niall stepped onto the stage holding a guitar. And no other then Liam following behind him. My mouth dropped and shocked. Where was Grace? I knew she would be excited to see Niall. Liam stepped up to the mic.

"This is to Sofie I hope you can forgive me." Liam said as the music started to play and Niall strummed along. I recognized the song right away.
