Pool party

Chapter two

It was finally 9:00pm so I changed into my bikini and put on some high wasted white shorts with some blue Vans. I then grabbed my side purse put my phone,water proof makeup and a crop top and drove to Cameron's house. By the time I got to Cameron's house I could already see that there were so many cars parked in his drive way on the curbs and around his whole house. Taking a few deep breaths I finally had the courage to get out of my car and enter the house. I walked up to the door step and rang the door bell. Cameron answered

Cameron: Hey Jess you made it,Come in.

I smiled, Hugged Cameron then I entered the house.

Once I walked into the house I regretted everything! I was surrounded by people doing drugs drinking and dancing like crazy the loud music. Cameron was a good guy, he never did drugs and only drank a couple of times. I was looking around to see if I recognized anyone. I finally found someone I knew! It was one of my old friends and yes she is a girl if you were wondering since all my friends are guys. I decided to walk up to her and say hi.

Me: Hey Ariel!

Ariel: Ew bitch why are you even talking to me?

Me: Oh sorry?

Ariel : Yeah you better be.

I don't know why she doesn't like me out of a sudden. I could feel the tears filling my eyes. I then ran up the big stairs of the house and ran into Cameron's room. Slamming the door and running to Cameron's bed I then sat with my head in my knees. Ariel was my best friend From 3rd grade until she left 8th grade and I've never seen her since tonight.

I then hear a door I look up to see a tall boy walk out of Cameron's bath room. He had dreamy blue/green eyes and brown hair.

Chris: oh hey sorry I didn't know you were in here

(Obviously not realizing I was balling my eyes out)

Me: It's okay people not noticing me isn't new.

Chris: Oh are you okay?

(Him finally realizing)

Me: uh yeah...

Chris: No your not what's wrong.

Him walking towards me then sits next to me.

Me: Uh it's just I finally saw a old friend of mine that was my best friend and now she wants nothing to do with me.

I say while crying. He then looks at me in the eyes and I completely started melting. His eyes were so beautiful and while looking into then everything went black. He then whipped away my tears. I started looking down at my legs when he started talking to me again.

Chris: It's okay I know how you feel it's happened to me before. It just shows they weren't your true friend.

Me: Yeah I guess (😔) (<---- with this expression on my face)

He then pulled me into a hug. We pulled away and looked into each other's eyes aging. He started to close his eyes and lean in when I started doing the same. We were about to touch lips when we heard Cameron's bedroom door open. We then pulled away quickly and looked who was at the door.

Cameron: There you are, I was looking for you everywhere. Were going into the pool now and I wanted you to join.

Me: Uh yeah I guess but only for a bit.

Cameron: Okay, oh I see you've met Chris. Anyway I'll be waiting for you.

Me: okay.

I then looked at Chris who was already looking at me. I'm sorry I said to him. He looked down and nodded. He then got up and was about to walk out of the door until he turned around again.

Chris: I didn't get your name.

Me: Oh I'm Jessica.

Chris: Okay I'm Chris as you've probably heard.

Me: ha yeah.

Chris: Okay well I'll see you around then.

Me: Uh yeah see ya.

Chris then turned around and proceeded walking out of the door. I then walked into Cams bathroom and pulled off my shorts which left me only with my bikini. I walked out of Cameron's room and walked to the back door to the back yard. I took a deep breath and walked out. It was packed with people. As you could probably not tell by now I'm very self conscience and I have a lot of anxiety. I can't do this I whisper to my self and run to the side of the house where no one was there. Well I thought. I sat there with my arms around my knees and my head into them. I then felt a body sit next to me. You have anxiety too? Someone asked me I looked up to see Chris.

Me: Uh yeah

Chris: I've had it all my life and I just can't seem to get over it.

Me: But how your so perfect.

OMG did I just say that out loud!?!?

Chris: ha thanks but I'm really not.

(While rubbing the back of his neck with his hand)

Me: You are you have a perfect body and face and eyes. What can you be scared to show off?

Chris: I don't know but thanks.

Me: no problem.

I said while smiling. We then sat there beside each other for a while in silence but it was the good type of silence. Cameron then came up beside me. There you are why aren't you in the pool? He asked me. I don't know. You know how I get. I replied to him yeah I guess. He said to me. I think I want to leave now I told him. He then nodded and told me he could give me a drive when Chris offered. Cam I think Chris should drive me. And plus you've been drinking. Okay he replied then Chris grabbed my hand and guided me to his car. I then told him where I lived and we reached my house. Are you living alone? He asked me. Uh yeah for now at least. I replied. Oh well do you want to stay with me tonight? You know so your not alone. He asked me. Um yeah sure I said to him and we drove to his house.

I hope you liked this chapter I tried to make it a little longer because my first one was pretty short. If you have any suggestions or feedback feel free to comment. Also I would like to know how you like to see characters talking the way where it tells you who's talking then they talk or when there's just paragraphs and it says ( blah blah blah blank said) haha if that makes sense.
