Coffee Shop Love Story: SERENDIPITY

Chapter 4

Ivan arrived at his office 5 minutes late. His car is still in the auto shop so he decided to ride a taxi. The taxi was running smoothly until they were greeted by traffic in the flyover site. The vehicles are not moving at all. It's already been 20 minutes and there's still no change so he decided to walk until the end of construction site and just get a new cab there. He is walking at the sidewalks when he heard a buzzing sound of a fast motorcycle so he move over to the side to let it pass. He started walking again when he noticed a girl few meters away from him. The girl didn't seem to notice the motor approaching. The people in front of her was signaling for her to move but it seems like she can't decipher what they were trying to tell her before he knew it his feet moved and run fast, grab the girl out of the way. He asked if she's okay only to be surprised to see who he has saved. It's Sara, his Bio-Lab partner back in high school. But it seems like she doesn't recognize him. When she told him that she's okay they parted ways. He let her go again... Sara, his unrequited first love. Unrequited...she doesn't even know how he felt about her. He's always waiting for the right time... and the result is he never had the chance to tell her because they migrated to the United States. Now he saw her again and again he just let her go. He looks at the sky and said "When we see each other again, I promise, I will never let you go."
