The Run Away

Someone New

After a while of Lavender talking to cole the door could be heard opening
"Cole are you here?"
A female voice shouted out
"Ya im in the living room"
Cole replyed back to the girl. The girl walked into the living room. She had very short red hair with orange at the tips she was wearing a hoodie with a rainbow heart in the middle of it with slightly loose jeans she looked at Lavender.
"Cole whos this? And why is she here"
She took a step back getting ready almost to run away. Cole stood up.
"No no Avery it's ok shes one of us!"
Cole said to calm her down. Her running stance went away as she looked at him
"But..i thought there was no more people like us"
She said glancing over at Lavender as she stood up.
"It's ok i have an ability like you too"
Lavender said standing next to cole
"Really then show me what you can do" Avery sounded scared still. Lavender turned around and picked up the glass of water Cole was once holding and turned back around she moved her hand quickly around the glass and the water started to float up in the air above her open palm.
her eyes lit up
"a water ability..so.."
Avery mumbled the rest as Lavemder put the water back into the glass "Anyways im Avery"
"Oh im Lavender and cole said i would sharing a room with you"
Avery smiled
"Thats perfect when the rest of the group comes back ill introduce you"
"Sounds great!"
Lavender smiled back at her.
"Glad to have a water ability on the team"
Cole was standing there smiling happily
"Yay you too are getting along! Normally Avery can be stubborn sometimes"
Cole teased
"Am not!"
Avery yelled back at him as she smacked his arm. Lavender laughed a bit.
"Im so glad i found people like me"
This seemed perfect for Lavender but really would it be once she met the others?
