I drove out of my drive way heading straight to my best friend Angie's house. We were going to a party. Celebrating what, you might ask? The last days of summer.
Its pretty crazy actually, going to a party a couple days before school starts. But its only to get rid of the summer vibe and knock us back to reality..... Well that's just what Angie told me as a way to get me to come with her. I didn't believe it of course I just didn't want to go back and forth with her. She'd win anyways.
Its currently 8:46pm on a Sunday night and here i was waiting for my best friend.
Bestfraaan (me): ugghhh why tf are u takin 4ever. U do this all the time
Bestiiiee: sorry i was putting on my shoes
Bestfraaan (me): riiigghhtt just come on
I seen her come out of the house in a tight light blue tube top and some white jeans with wedges to top it off. She wasn't one to wear make up and when she did it was really light. As she approached my car i can see her smiling sheepishly at me. i only roll my eyes and unlock the doors.
"im so sorry you know how my mom gets" she says buckling her seat belt.
"Yeah i know but thats why you should have told her days before. Not literally a few hours before the damn party" i replied pulling off from her house and driving to the party. She didn't reply just shrugging her shoulders like usual.
